As I have a few bottles of Sloe Gin and Whiskey on the go at the moment (amazing year for sloes here), thought I might try and make use of some damsons I have too.

Just wondering if anyone has a good recipe for Damson Wine?

Is Damson jam worth a stab?

Jam, pips are a pain but well worth making.
Wine yes, use a plum recipe best to freeze the damsons first IMHO.

Jam, yes, though personally I’d go for jelly, there’s a lot of skin with damsons. The result has taste and colour that are special.
