What’s the material like on these?

I have a MULE from about 8 years ago and it’s made from a nice thick material, almost indestructable, thick material on the shoulder straps, good zips etc, but the Volt I got recently is made from a really thin material, almost see through in places and has flimsey shoulder straps, feels like it’ll easily get ripped at the first sight of brambles. Is the Skyline any better or are all camelbaks made from flimsey weight saving materials these days?

Yeah I had a Volt and tore one of the waist pockets on a bramble…got a Skyline now and the material is much more durable though not as robust/heavy as my old Mule. Had it over 6 months and it’s stood up well to my clumsy riding

Ah, ok, thanks mildbore, that’s good to know as I can’t find one locally to look at and I’ll have to order online.
