    Something in me doesn’t wish to pay sixteen sovereigns for the Rixen Kaul bracket (see pic) , which is elegant solution but really just a bit of wire and plastic tube. Trying to bypass the Mary bars conundrum

    How many spacers do you have under your stem? Enough space for a another stem and a set of old bars cut down to 10cm long?

    BBB Uni mount – the one I went for instead of that ^^^, at half the price again (and it’s the same).

    Something else in me wishes to bend an old stainless guard stay and stick a bit of tube on it. 8)

    Thnks flatboy, bargain – none in stock sure can find elsewhere if I ditch the DIY urge (steel = real). Results either way – STWists I salute you 🙂
