Has anyone else noticed that their prices on their website for decent stuff such as forks, brakes, etc are comparable with bike discount. They have advertised heavily in magazines lately - I wonder if these are short term prices to fish us in, or will Halfords be another good source of cheap kit, like Merlin, etc?
Their shares dropped sharply the other day I read. Could be a profit boosting scheme?

Crc are doing 2tubes and bottle for £8. Not quite halfords deal(or no deal) but not bad.

I spent nearly half an hour in my local Halfords on Sunday while with much frowning and searching by staff but nothing giving. Thought I might have reserved some and considered it worth chancing anyway.
