Once again, Android users can enjoy the same experience as iphone users, just slightly later on 😆

Just to be pedantic, it is STW after all………….

Shouldn’t that be Flash [Adobe] to stop supporting Android?

Adobe to admit flash is even more redundant.

I didn’t realise Flash was available on Android in the first place.

One of the great benefits of iOS is not supporting Flash, it means you get fewer adverts. That’s a benefit now to be enjoyed by Android users.

The comments on that article say it all really:

Damn now I can’t brag with “Android has Flash” anymore to iOS users 🙁

I haven’t even bothered to install Flash the past few times I’ve installed a new ROM. I won’t miss it.

I won’t miss flash at all. Good riddance. Don’t worry the computing world will survive without it.

As has often been said on various ifanboi vs fandroid threads on here, Flash is broken and horrible on touchscreen mobile devices, it kills battery life and causes all kinds of browser crashes and security flaws.

I don’t even have it enabled by default on my desktop PC.

If Apples stance has killed Flash then that’s one more thing that Android can thank them for 😉

Most of the browsers seem to only enable it on demand anyway so not an advantage. Could really been seen as an advantage of an android based platform that, if you so choose, you can see flash content. Were the apple based user is stuck without it.

Have to say I’ll be glad to see the back of flash though.
