I have a bit of a problem i need a 73mm BB with an axle lengh of 113mm (im assuming ther lengh to be correct its for a middleburn) People on here recommend SKF BBs but alas they have stopped making them and the only size people have in stock is 118mm. So does anyone know of a good alternative ISIS BB im willing to pay good money if it will last cheers

    John,
Who’s stopped making them? Middleburn are the new distrib for SKF.. Give middleburn an email and they might be able to help you out… Seems very odd that the new SKF distrib makes cranks that no longer fit what SKF produce!

Superstar ISIS (IRB)is good and only 30 quid.

I had one for about 8 months and the only reason it died is that I was lazy/careless while hosing the bike off. As long as you don’t point a hose/jetwash directly at the sides/seals of the BB then it should last longer than 8 months.
