    hi i bought a car last year and the air bag light flashes all the time how can i turn it of please?

    Take it to a garage have the ecu read to find the fault then either you or the garage fix it.

    search on google on the fault

    if it's a pug 306 you sort out the wires under the drivers seat ……

    Astra has same problem with wires under the seat.

    Doesn't help you though ….. sorry.

    Could also be caused by seat belt pretensioners been activated at some point, or unplugged.

    Check the passenger airbag hasn't been turned off, no so common now but you used to be able to deactivate it using the ignition key, often on the side of the dash where the passenger door shuts against it.

    I had a similar problem with my Honda – persistent warning light after a service. A quick google and I found out how to reset the system (using 2 paper clips 😯 ) and it's all good now.

    Of course there is a chance it could be flashing to warn you of a problem – might be worth getting it checked out professionally?
