    Was there with the family today, saw loads of bikers with gear strapped to their bikes. I assume there’s an event on? Or coincidence? Anyone know, just out of interest?

    Yep, JennRide. No doubt PostieRich will post up a summary report on the relevant thread. A lot of folk bivvied on Claife Heights and on Parkamoor so there’ll have been a steady stream of riders passing through Ambleside.
