    Do you give new batteries a food charge, eg 24hrs?

    The battery that came with my Magicshine Mj-880 (I think that’s the right name) has not been great but I think it may be because I didn’t charge it for long when new. The manual just said charge until the charger shows a green light, which I did.

    I’ve bought a new battery, what should I do for its first charge?

    Charge untill full, overcharging is not good for batteries.

    As above, but it is not unusual for the Chinese to use nearly knackered laptop batteries.
