If I'm running a bash and a blackspire stinger would I also need something to keep the chain on top or will the stinger suffice ??

You need something on top more than the bottom.Posted 4 months ago # -
Spot on. Very unlikely to get away with no top guard whereas lots of people get on fine with no bottom guard.
