Pavlova made last night, 6 egg yokes in fridge not wanting to be wasteful I’d rather use them.

    Inspire me.

Surely you’ll need some custard over Christmas? I used the yolks left over from the cake icing: pint of milk, 6 yolks, vanilla pod, caster sugar. Delicious.

This. Although Christmas cake or pudding is just as good. Don’t forget to add about 20ml of cognac per 3 yolk mix. Light soft brown sugar instead of white too.

    Curd.
Lemon, lime, passion fruit, raspberry. The wife makes all sorts, but I like a really sharp lemon one.

    2 snifters of whisky
    3 eggs
    3 shakes of Tabasco
    Pinch of salt
    Grind of pepper
Crushed ice (not a lot, just 1 block will do)
    Mix and shake vigorously

    Gulp down.

Those saying hollandaise are nearly right. The answer is béarnaise (to go with steak and chips).
