The next photo in your stream is how I currently feel after a 20 mile – half and half TW and HW. 🙂

Did a wind-assisted 40 miler a few weeks ago heading north west from Settle to Ribblehead, Hawes then up to Kirkby Stephen, where we jumped on the Settle-Carlisle and trained back to Settle station. It rained a lot but we had an absolute blast, literally. The last half mile climbing back up from KS village to the station was the worst bit as it was straight into the wind.

    I’m all for wind-assisted riding!

I did a one way ride from the north to the south of fuerteventura with a strong tail wind all the way. It was great! The first time we rode there we did an out and back and rather underestimated the wind so made sure we planned the next ride a little better…

Clapham to Skipton or vice versa using the train one way is a great one for a strong westerly\easterly.

We did an out and back route.
Out had a headwind of about 20-25 mph.
No wind at all on the way back.
At least it helped to shift the christmas belly a bit.
