  • 2×10…long or medium derailleur needed?

    Just purchased a couple of 104bcd rings to change from 3×10 to 2×10, but not sure if I also need to change derailleur to accomodate?

    Anything else I should be wary of when changing over?

    You could use a medium cage mech if you want, but it’s not a necessity.

    Unless you use a bash guard you will need shorter chainring bolts for the medium (now big) ring.

    Cheers…I think the rings are coming with the correct bolts.

    Do you need to change the front mech from 3×10 to 2×10?
