29er Fatbike how long before it happens

nononononono a 29er rim with a Fat tyre to make it MAHOOOOSIVE! say for example like the 3.5″ 29er rubber I’ve got coming for a little project 😀

it’ll come in around 32-33″ It could be an expensive folly, but it’s fun trying daft things and just now n then it’s magic

What gyres are they tazzy? My estay bike has enough clearance to run them

Now imagine this with 3.5” tyres ……

erm, isn’t a 29er so called because the outside diameter of the tyre is approx 29″ (the rim is only approx 24.5″ in diameter). So if you put a 4″ wide tyre on you’ll have an OD of more like 31″ or something.

my bigboy should arrive tomorrow, so I’ll post some pics and dimensions when I get it fitted and find some lifting gear to pick the wheel up.

rumour has it there may be a 26″ version available as well, so i’m lookin into it
