Just got back, 1 1/2 hrs round the local woods. Had forgotten how different it was.

But the real difference? I scared myself thinking about Dog Soldiers instead of the usual Blair Witch Project.

That is all

Lovely night ride tonight, was a bit puzzled by all the suicidal bunnies that kept jumping around in front of me, like a furry, 4-legged emo convention....

I spooked two badgers the other night, never thought they could run so fast!

Lucky for me they didn't decide to stand and fight ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I had that happen last week. Quite surprising, didn't happen once last year.

rode through some pockets of heat and then pockets of really cold air while out tonight - quite a strange sensation to go from one to the other in the space of 20 metres.

almost tropical overall!

I'm so glad I'm not the o ly one who thinks of films like that when riding. Not thought of dog soldiers before but Blair Witch in Cann Woods was a constant given the weird teepees people were building there.

I ended up night riding home tonight through my local woods with no lights after spending too long digging a jump, scared the shit out a walker as I approached him carrying a spade on my bike ๐Ÿ˜†

Ps, I'll often go solo nightriding without lights, that feels very different to the arms war group nightriding becomes each year.

Did 2 laps of the dusk till dawn course tonight, and it was lovely, few bunnies hopping around and a deer who just watched us roll past, really good, and had the same thing as dawson, pockets of warm air that were really strange, never had that before at thetford.

Just got a new (to me) light for the wife, hoping she'll come with me and hold my hand if I get frightened!
