The 2022 editions of the Canyon Grail are now available on the Canyon website.
For 2022, there’s a return of the Canyon AL alloy model, plus a range of component updates and expanded array of accessories. While the Canyon Grizl we reviewed earlier this year is for heading more off the beaten track, the Grail targets fast riding on less rugged surfaces. With prices starting at just £1,499, it’s perhaps a tempting bike for those looking to commute on mixed surfaces – or just British roads.
A nice touch in the eight-bike line-up is the AW ‘All Weather’ model, which includes front and rear lights plus mudguards as standard. A potential choice then for winter club rides where you don’t want to spray your friends behind you with filth from your wheels.
Canyon Grail 2022 Pricing

The bikes come with the distinctive Double Decker Bar, for which there’s a new LOAD waterproof bar bag available (which also fits standard bars).

I was quite excited by the prospect of the All-Weather version until I saw the useless mudguards!
