    +1 on what DaveRambo said.
Depending which one yo’re doing they’ll usually put a float or board in the water when you have 2 lenghts left so if you do forget don;t worry.
Also as above don’t push to the point where you’re going to passout, otherwise you’ll get intot he first transition and you won;t be able to focus on putting your bike kit on and before you know it, you’ve lost an extra 2mins in the transition compared to the 30s you gained in the swim.

The key is just enjoy it.
Out of interest which one you doing??

Hopefully they’ll have it in stock!

If not good luck getting it from marzocchi. I’ve been waiting over 3 months for a part for the damping unit on my 55’s and even now they are in no rush to send the part across to Windwave. (Another 2-3 weeks)

I couldnt; find any 2010 diagrams but they seemed to use the same part on the 2009 and 2008’s
    http://www.raceco-mtb.com/marzocchi/

It looks like part 27 on here http://tinyurl.com/9w82w2m

And the part numbers are here http://tinyurl.com/bfay6r5

Apologies for the “tinyurl”‘s. For some reason it didn’t like the original urls.

    Hope it helps.

I’ve got my 55’s with J-Tech at the moment. The only issue is Marzocchi don’t seem to be any form or rush to ship the spares needed to the uk  (3months and waiting!!)

I’m going to use these rascals!
Tested them in the Tameside XL Triathlon the other week and worked quite well.

As above I have thought about gaffer taping them on.

    +1 on Stags Head.
A little further out, but Grave Diggers in Phibsborough was a favourite of mine when i lived there.
Also i’ve spent may a night in Frank Ryan & Son in Smithfield.

The above are all based on you liking and having the ability to drink copious amounts of Guinness??

Depending on what size you’re drilling, this will drill up to 18mm, although optimum is 4-12mm.
Yours for £99+vat plus 2 years free servicing

I run my 06 s-works stumpjumper with the Float RL (with ITCH switch) off my old 03 Enduro. According to specialized it measures 7.625″ x 2.0″.
Whilst it fits, it does tend to foul on the weld on the linkage which i’ve found tends to put extra force on the lower bushes. This means i have to replace the lower bush pretty much every 8-10 rides?? I’m currently trying a stainless strong bush that i’m hoping will last a bit longer

I’ve also found that the extra shock length has screwed the geometry up a fair bit even with a 130mm fork up front. Whilst it’s cracking on the cross country i always feel like i’m sat over the front wheel when it comes to the steep downhill’s.

    Hope this helps!!

I’ve just this minute finished fitting some new ones. I always went bosch but the last pair haven’t lasted that long. I’ve gone cheap and cheerful from ebay and they seem to clear the screen fine. Saying that i have put the old ones in the boot just in case they prove useless on the A1 tomorrow night

The lip is insane. Not a chance you’d catch me anywhere near that.

I like the comment that “The French Navy labeled this day a double code red prohibiting and threatening to arrest anyone that entered the water”

I’ve only ever used Pace who have serviced my RC40’s twice and also changed the spring. I had mine in just before Christmas and it was aprox £100 with postage for a general service.

As for Fork English, this might be of use from an older posting. Not sure how the prices compare now as even Mojo seem to have jumped a fair bit recently

deviant – which shimano brakes have you got?

I’m looking at trying to fit them to some old M755 but very reluctant to, if i’m going to have to start making mods to the caliper

With all this talk of lights and a interesting encounter with a dark bridge on the trans penine last night, i’ve been taking a look at the deal Extreme lights.

Out of interest when it comes to payment does anyone know if you get a better exchange rate using your paypal account or paying by credit card?

Overall i’ve found it pretty good with plenty of pockets and the wheel bags are spot on. The only real criticism i have is that they are quite short. I have a L 06 FSR stumpjumper and with my pace rc40 forks it is too long to fit in the bag. It could just be mine as it only needs an extra inch, but i’d see if you can check your frame against one first.

I'm no expert but if you look at your line in the source code where you define the style sheet the end of the code on the "Contact" page is closed differently.
On the home page the line is closed "href="styles.css" />" but on the contact page it is closed " href="styles.css">" to me you seem to have missed out the / in the end of the line. It might however have nothing to do with this but might be worth trying!!!

Just had a similar issue with my 06 Sworks Stumpy. The bearings clapsed so i bought a set off the bay. Tried to press them out at work but the vice was too big so took it to my LBS. They tried, but failed to remove them (No charge… ). So in the end took it to the concept store in chester, who had them out in a couple of days and pressed in the new ones for £30. Have to say i highly recomend the guys there. They even sorted out my warranty replacement when i snapped my enduro a couple of years ago. No one else in Manchester gave a toss, so in the end gave them a shout and they were awesome. New frame in a week!!!

Not yet ladies and gents… The new steering cable arrived this morning so hoping to get her bottom wet this weekend if the weather is peachy.
I'm still trying to find the Ukranian prostitutes to help polish her but i'm still holding out hope

i had that exact problem with mine last year. When i first got them i had a similar problem and sent them back to pace for some warranty work. They seemed peachy for about 4 years but it got steadily worse last year.
From what i could see some of the loss of travel was due to wear on the gold travel dial. If you take it off you will see some small ball bearing that slot into corresponding holes. The wear meant that there was very little friction between the bearings and dial. Well that was the only thing i could see without stripping them down.
In the end I dropped them in for a service to get this looked at and with no service in 4 years they were desperate for a bit of tlc.
Also as i'd added a few extra pounds i wanted a stiffer spring upgrade at the same time.
North west mountain bike centre shipped them off to PACE for the above work but in the end as it happens PACE diagnosed that the stanchions had de-bonded from the crown so i ended up having to have new stanchions and stearer fitted that came with an uprated travel adjuster and rebound. Not a cheap solution, but it's fixed the travel issue and 6 months on they are still spot on.

    Hope it helps

I went with the Unipart LHM oil part number GBF6103. Cost about £4 for a litre. Got it from partco in Salford Quays Manchester

Replaced out the old oil on my XT's front and rear and have had no issues what so ever. Done about 300km since doing it and they still feel spot on. Also with having a litre i wasn't too fussed about wasting any oil so made bleeding a hell of a lot easier
