Not condoning this but you can see why some folks get pissed off with mtb’s. Those trails are trashed 😕

Once cheered at Leslie Crowther when I was up a scaffold.

He should’ve shouted “come on down!”…he didn’t though, he just waved.

I’ve had them for years, they come and go.
Two different types and treatment, ones caused by a bacteria in your gut, a blood test will determine this, treatable with a coarse of ABs. The other seems less clear, this is the one I’m just shaking off. A change of diet is working for me, no alcohol, no tea or coffee, no spicy foods, no citrus fruits, no tomato based stuff, low fat everything…its been a long month but pain free now and half a stone lighter.

Yeah Mastermind game, still got that somewhere.
Not that it even slightly resembled the tv show but it always bothered me that Magnus wasn’t on the front – IMPOSTERS!!

Vivaros have a few known faults. Gearbox on the older one’s, pre 06 I think. Also there’s a design fault in which water can accumulate on the injectors which corrodes them making it impossible to remove = £££

The thing with NN’s is, they get slagged and slated for being fragile and paper thin etc BUT they seldom state which model/compound they’ve had issues with.
I’m still running a pair of NN 2.4 snakeskins that have been on my hardtail for 8 years!… THEY WILL NOT **** DIE!

    Stupid question from a first time voter;
Do I need to know names of local candidates or is it simply a case of ticking the appropriately coloured box?

    Thanks 🙂

Lining will cover a certain amount of flaked paint, scratches and scrapes. Its biggest benefit is it’ll seal in the old paste if you’ve stripped it,

Your walls need to be in very good nick to hang lining paper for emulsioning. If there’s preping to be done I’ll cost you £120-£150 as a guide.
If you’ve got more than 1 room to go at I’d get it plastered.

    I am a decorator hth 🙂

Looks like just sand and cement. Scrape/ knock it off to where its solid and patch it up with more sand and cement then paint it. Job jobbied

Zippy I think you’re on to something there. The bars would help to keep it stable as they’re tight against roof. Like!

Those front wheel axle holder thingys look a right old faff. You take wheel out and qr, then locate qr in the tube on the holder, have I got that right?

I hang mine vertically off back doors with a front wheel hanger thing – only works if you can stand up in your van though.

I attempted kunstlers route as a mini lollipop(anticlockwise) but couldn’t find the start of the path that drops down towards the bothy, its not a continuation of the main path, you have to head off piste a bit and was buried in the low cloud somewhere so I gave up and returned the way I came.
The drop down to the bothy looks great from the bottom though – next time.

Its a frustrating slog up to the high point as said. A better bet if you like a bit of tech is the final descent as an out and back all the way around to corrie mich fairchair (sp)

4 lights through bins. Didn’t look with naked eye, didn’t want to loose it. Did look big though…What do you think?
    (I need closure 😀 )

Hi Andy, the four lights (2 central and 2 dimmer further out in a symmetrical line) were without doubt all part of same object. I had a great view, followed it across the sky with 10×50 bins. The size is puzzling though, bigger than what I would’ve expected it to be. Any way to find out what the altitude would’ve been at say 20mins after launch?

Never joke about UFO sightings, you WILL be probed 😉

I asked the same question on Facebook, info I got was it was spotted over Ireland at roughly same time, 20mins after launch. The solar arrays had just been deployed and was visible as 4 lights in a line – which is what I saw.
I like to know what the altitude was though at that point. Reasonably conclusive though?

Belated thanks Mrsalmon, good shout on Dragon.
It had not long launched and was over uk at the time. The solar arrays had deployed which looked like the wings of a plane.

Chuffed with that, a lucky spot 🙂

    Or it was closer, Dougal.

As I said, I couldn’t tell how high it was. The jets were the only reference I had to go on.

I get them in my loo too.
Nothing worse than a nice relaxing poo curtailed by the sound of free-diving turd burglars beneath your swinging undercarriage.

Thats what I first thought but it was too big, the ISS is a single point of light apparently.
Looking on the ISS tracker site I dont think it would’ve been visible this far north either.
It was at least 3 times wider than the jets I could see on the Manc airport flight path.
    Hmmm….

They’re pretty good climbers too, I’ve caught one scaling the 6ft fence in my back garden!
