    Ok, here’s one.
    Its the late 60’s/early 70’s.
Theres a boy, and he’s playing a massive organ type thing in a 60’s sci/fi fantasy type style thing, and some weird voice from above or something calls ‘sparky’ …..or something.
I’ve had this in my head for years, tell me it was real….

Torridon a few weeks back was heaving with them. Never thought of them as a mountain dweller. They look like a small raptor in flight and sound like a baby Ocelot being squeeezed

Professional on the internet here too *waves*

Wet it with water and see what happens, it may bubble in places, if it does it’ll have to come off really. If its still solid leave it on – sizing not necessary

Furries ok but bubbles or loose bits arn’t. If it’ll come off the plasterboard face without damaging it then yes get it off.

If you’re happy that the old backing paper is well stuck with no bubbles or lifting seams then a medium lining paper with normal paste (not ready mixed!) will be fine – no sizing required

The one thats farthest away from the top mount, doesn’t look much difference there though. Is that a fluid?

I stuck a HV boostvalve jobby on my five and that was very wallowy even at high pressures. Much better now with volume reducer in, does make it harsher over small bumps though.

They’re not great in mud and they wont go on my arch ex’s but they handle rocky stuff very well.
    Not an all-rounder though imo

Hilo here too, seems bomb-proof tbh. Had it for 18 months with no issues apart from topping up with air (once, recently) Recommended

Anyone resoled there am40s with stealth rubber at feetfirst?

Not am40’s but I’ve had a pair of walking boots done.
It is five ten rubber but not the same dotty stealth as the Impacts, its way thicker and stiffer so will stiffen up any shoes considerably – not necessarily a bad thing though

    I use this (seriously)…

Its tough and you can have it as thick as you like by sticking it on in multiple layers 🙂

Which would also apply to every other design of BB, some of which have smaller bearings, which therefore carry more load per ball, which would therefore be more susceptible to this.

Dont smaller bearings carry less load because there’s more of them?

I managed to squeeze a 34 middle on 2007 frame but had to file corner off swing arm – its only a lump of metal 🙂

Cheers for your sacrifice(?) today. Abit melodramatic and a slog is still rewarding in a way but saving someone a hassle earns karma points imo.

…shut up you tart 😉 :twink:

    Just measured mine:

Maxxis ADvantage 26×2.25 on ZTR Arch EX Tubeless @ 25 psi = 55mm

    Conti X-King RaceSport 26×2.20 on ZTR Crest Tubeless @ 25 psi = 54.5mm

    Good work that man!
Thats exactly the info I required cheers 🙂

Last summer whilst on the annual family camping trip.
Climbed to the Beacon then descended north towards Dickys, made it up as we went along after that, climbing and descending owt that looked promising. We did drop down from Webbers post which was excellent and worth seeking out.
Theres a youtube vid knocking about of loads of good stuff in there, I’ll dig it out and email it you (I wont post it on here – it contains stormtroopers 😉 )
