Had a look at laptops direct and there seems like a fair amount of choice for the money. All with a years warranty.. will keep an eye on them. Thinking dell or HP as they seem to be fairly well thought of.

Thank p-jay..at least I know an i5 sounds adequate. I usually do transfer it to an external drive. 🙂

It would just be the basic gopro.. 1080p usually on 30fps. Not going to be using any effects. Not sure what program to use.. what the easiest?!

Yip.. did the exact same thing.. no problem.

Yip.. chainline issue. I removed the spacer I had from the drive side and it was a ‘bit’ better. Can get 3 turns at the back before it drops down.. 😕

Just back from doing the achnashealach descent! It was fairly wet but not unrideable. Started at coulags and out past the bothy. It was snowing heavily at the top of the hike but once on the descent the weather improved.. brilliant!! 😀

Had one of the new fabric saddles and returned it for this very reason..

I’m in the process of emigrating and getting rid of my cd collection. Not willing to sell them to music magpie and the likes for 30p each. If any of you are interested I can collate a list and would take £1 a cd.. 🙂

I had the same problem. Most specialzed saddles have a cut out, it’s just finding which one suits. I’ve had a similar problem.. tried so many seats. Finally plumped for a selle Italia novus flow. Evans do a 30 day trial. I went through 5 different saddles before finding the right one!

Heart wrenching.. such a horrible disease 🙁

I ran spesh purgatory on the rear and a spesh butcher up front on my asr5.. seemed good.

I’ve had bi lateral.. got the procedure done keyhole. ‘General’ recovery was fairly quick considering. I was up and about after a few days. I had an ingruinal hernia about 4 years ago and had open surgery, that took me 4-6wks to get over.didnt rush any when I had the keyhole as everything looks as if it’s healing quickly from the outside but it’s the inside you need to worry about.

Going to look into this today.. so what is causing the chain line issues, will it be the cranks. As I’m only running XT stuff at the back would it make any difference if I ran a sram rear cassette?

I’m using a threaded hope bottom bracket.. my LBS has assembled it.. It looks like there’s a spacer in there..
