you could fit a Taskled Lflex to the light and as long as the led is still alive
it will work with the 4.2 volt battery pack .

As its so uncompleted seriously have a think about double skin to keep the damp out as suggested by others

My garage is single skin stone not blocks and this time of year. rust forms so quick on
    metal like overnight

My old oily lathe will red up overnight if I don’t cover it with an old sleeping bag .

Very old Liberator on the bars

and very new Spidereyes on the lid

the bar light is really not needed as the beam from the spider does it all so run the bar light on low just in case of a failure
but in the spider beam even on high it doesnt show up

beamshot of just the spider 😯

Enjoyed last nights ride Jason and thanks for waiting at the top of the climbs

    Report on planet F1

However, di Montezemolo was quick to deny the claims, insisting that two very strong drivers at Ferrari would cause more harm than good.

“I’ve always said that I don’t want two roosters in the hen-house,” the Ferrari president told Italian radio station, RAI.

Rusty has it correct I did try to use the existing driver but it was nowhere near powerful enough for the new leds.

Part 2 is a bit small

First the Lflex needs its thermal double sided tape sticking on

And warm up the housing again and stick in the Lflex in the position shown

Then solder all your wires and job nearly done

the next bit is to read the Lflex manual and configure the driver to 3 or 3.5 amps drive and set the modes and thermal monitoring Job done you now have an approx 2000 lupin Hope vision 4 .

One more little point is the front bezel wont quite close up tight so a little silicon sealant is needed to make it fully waterproof .

does it work from non rechargeable AAs if so the that would be 4.5 v so a single Li ion or 2 in parallel would be a good choice

Smudge can do those for you easy and by the sound of it the cable is doable but a fiddle .

Same single Garage a few years ago with the landy project
99% of the work was done inside due to the bastid next door neighbour.

I seem to need a bigger workshop for these little projects now

sold the trialer and it is still going strong the new owner even tested my welding out with a forward roll

I have not been inside an enduro but have done a joystick and had a look in a Maxx they are not the easiest lights to make brighter .

    CB
Nixie has nailed it there I have had a couple of V2 users suddenly find their battery is old and not up to the extra current drain of max but so far no reported huge loss of runtime .

next time I get a vision 4 in I will take some photos and do a how to mod the beast .
but at the moment it seems to be vision 2 s that are dropping through the letterbox

the bezel on the hope 4 Can be rra right Git to remove first a spray with penetrating oil helps
and some marigolds to aid grip .
the oring under the bezel sticks to the optic a d twists it round breaking the legs and removing the led domes this is not too much of a problem as the upgrade replaces the LEDs and driver but does make locating the optic a hastle

vision two thread is here for those who have emailed me
