You don’t have any right to a refund if there is nothing wrong with the product and it wasn’t mis-sold.

Coming from my own experience from running a garden centre I know those products are completely impossible to repackage. And if they aren’t packaged perfectly as per how the manufacturers did it you can never re sell them at the normal price. People will just always select the unopened one.

It’s up to the company whether they offer a refund if unwanted policy, maybe this person doesn’t or they have a strict policy of only accepting it back if returned exactly as someone bought it so they can re sell at full price.

EDIT – did the retailer take the product off you and keep it but refuse the refund?

All true but overridden by the seller accepting the return

The above really doesn’t give the whole story tbh, two peoplec ould have identical RX’s as above but one could have a 6/6 acuity and the other 6/18! un corrected but both 6/6 corrected, so one would need glasses one wouldn’t. The ONLY persons advice you shuld listen to here is the qualified optician that carried out the test!!

Cathederal Grove, Uclet and Tofino, Depending on the time of year whale watching on a boat trip up the inside passage, Campbell River, Forbidden Plateau Naniamo, all very beautifull places, Graville Island is also very nice and as said above Victoria is very nice. Just avoid Courtnay and Comox (Oh wait thas a personal no MIL lives there) 🙂

Bear in mind the Island is about the size of England so things will probably be further apart than you realise

    I have this

    Samsung sounbar

I bought it to go with a Samsung TV so LG to LG follows the same logic, It makes a massive difference to sound quality/atmosphere, if you can stretch to a wireless sub its worth it for the tidiness

Benefits should be for those in need not a lifestyle choice, tbh I dont think any ‘benefits’ should be cash, it should all be via voucher for necessities,I susprct there would be far fewer benefit ‘claimants’ this way.

Just to add YOUR contract is with the retailer, what lenovo say or dont say has nothing to do with your rights, the retailer has confirmed there was no damage when they inspected it, so as it has been in Lenovo’s posession for two months its is quite possible they damaged it! Replacement or refund, if they refuse either then small claims as stated higher up.

Can I have ten square metres of public land for my exclusive use then?

TJagain ever locked your bike up in a public place on a footpath etc?

This could be causing an obstruction to pedestrians in the same way but on a smaller scale!

Would those brands include Bolle? I note they used to sell cycling glasses at the same price as lots of other high end brands…

As said above the difference is in the coatings, the bolle safety glass is made from the same polycarb as the sunny, however the sunny has better coatings etc so the optics will be better, whether the price difference is worth it for the coatings……..thats personal opinion.

To help taking tints out of it the best coating around is supposed to let about 15% more light thru, the more light thru the more picked up by the optic nerve, the better the image the brain can define from the light. this coating costs ALOT……..worth it for a 15% improvement that by the time tints etc come into play is more like 3-4%……..hard to say

Smiths as a company I dont really know their product, but a few basics……ignore any manufacturer bullshit about strength and UV protection when/if looking at polycarb lenses they are ALL 100% UV it has nothing to do with the manufacturer its an inherent property of the material, similarly any strength difference will be down to thickness of lens for the same reason.

The optical differences are down to the tints/polarisations and coatings that are then applied to the lens.

Take there into account and within the industry Maui Jim are recognised to be second to none with Serengeti a close second, a few of the others including adidas and Nike also get good reviews. their lead over other brands……pretty small percentages per pounnd tbh. Saying all this I have 2 pairs of Oakley,2 addida 1 nike, 3 maui and a couple of pairs of bolle oh and one of police………for me the Maui’s win every time
