We did the Tim woodcock one in April over 3 days the 1st day in the lakes was way two much st bees-Kirkby Stephen there’s lots of walking bits that day a long one 8.30-10.30,the next day was fine Kirkby Stephen to the edge of the moors 65 miles that was 10.30-5 with a stop in Richmond for a hour,the last day across the moors was crazy head wind so that made it hard but not a bad day,I want to do it again but with a better route across the lakes with less walking.

Michelin I couldn’t fit on mine but conti 4000s2 fitted fine.

Hi I did the same got that cheap one off ebay and had the same probs I think it’s just made to small,I ended up getting a gen DT kit which was £60 but that works spot on,I only had it fitted a month and 2 spokes pulled out the hub so it’s no good to me anymore I can sell the axle and end caps for £25 posted if you intrested email in profile

My rear crest rim has cracks on around 10 spoke hole have been riding it like that for 2 years now

I have the sl23s there great I had some 25mm 4000s2 tyres on they ended up about 28mm so have 23mm on now,the conti tyres fit easy on the rims but could not get any Michelins to go on at all.

I swapped a few months ago I do find the SL23 ride a little nicer and is stiffer and if your 11sp you need the ultra hub

I have mine on a salsa at the min with a std carbon 1″1/8th steerer on a tapered frame have leftys on all sorts of frames.

No your right there’s just the mk1 on exposure some shops say mk2 but they must be wrong will order one at £167

If you look on wiggle they have the mk1 for £167 and the mk2 at over £300

Evans in Kendal for the lefty if it needs doing there a lot cheaper and do a better job.
