I must fit in a certain sector of car owners, having owned 2 MX5s a V6 TT and now and RX8.

You can even get bike and beer in the back.

Although I've a Saris Bones 3 on the way to make life easier.

Yeh the stitches are out and he's desperate to get back on the bike in time for SITS! I suppose you are right, chainrings pose an equally large problem, although they are less likely to be rotating at speed when they contact the body. I'm sure it's unusual to actually get cut from a rotor though. I'm still unsure as to how this accident actually happened. The rider just remembers riding along, then being in a pile. The bike obviously came over the top and somehow sliced him on the way down but I can't quite picture it.

We had to air-evac. this fairly innocuous looking injury (in actuality it was a 6-7inch laceration severing the ) from a large standard rotor, only a couple weeks ago from Afan. I just wonder if making rotors saw-edge shaped serves any real benefit.

and the big red ride to Morriston..

It might look silly with some fresh flesh hanging off of it. Don't mean to put too much of a downer on it, but having seen a fair few standard rotor inflicted injuries, I'd hate to see the fallout from a saw cut rotor!

So what is Sashas recent stuff labeled as ? Airdrawndagger and Involver are both awesome, but I've no idea what pigeon hole I've got my ear to. I'm a newb to these (electronica) parts but absolutely loving the journey.

If you've got a decent down jacket to sleep in then you might be OK, maybe with a beanie on your head and base layers. Just make sure you have a big evening meal and all your base layers are clean and dry. The other thing that works well for trapping air and adding a season is a decent bivvy bag (not the cheap plastic bags), it also keeps the outside of you sleeping bag clean and dry, if you can get one over there.

I worked with a Russian mountain guide who used to use one of those rectangular caravan sleeping bags which only came up to his waist. He wore his down jacket to cover the top half and a hat to keep warm at night. He slept on 1/2 a karrimat which he had cut and used to store loose as a liner to his pack. We looked right prats in our goretex bivi bags and lightweight tents next to Anatoli. He had been guiding for 20 years and had lead teams to Summit Everest and K2. I learned a lot from that man! I still take a full bag, thermarest and bivi though!

Highly recommend something akin to our 'Swim Fit' classes for adults. It's half stroke technique, drills, and fitness. Ours covers all ability levels in different lanes and I've been going for about a month now. I'm really feeling the benefits already. Much more controled breathing on the crawl now and I'm not sprinting away from the start, unable to maintain breathing on the 3rd length, like I used to be.

They seem to manage solo at Mayhem just fine so why treat them any differently?

Berghaus Yeti's uses to be the gaiter of choice as long as your sole fitted them. This info is 15 years out of date though.

Walk down to to the front and take a swim from the wooden jetty. If all else fails, walk down to the Glen and commence hair of the dog maneuvers.

No there's not a single spacer in the stack. I'll ride it while I learn my manuals but I'm going to order a 40mm stack height stem from CRC before I start jumping.

Cheers guys. keep them coming. I’m still clueless as to what to buy. All I know is I want something I can chuck about and that will take my D521 v-brake wheels and probably the cheapo InSync forks I’ve got in the shed.

I suffered a couple of years ago but things seem to have calmed down now. I was drinking a bit more back then, mid week and I’ve cut down on spice intake. I found chilis were particularly bad for me. It only takes minutes after eating before a purge was required. Very uncomfortable and quite awkward when eating out as you say. I’d never thouht about linking it with stress but I was very busy with work at the time and not getting any decent excercise or eating balanced meals. Maybe just try to increase your healthy intake a bit.

You are correct. There must indeed be some form of massive understanding, as there is nothing wrong with riding alone in remote areas, providing sensible steps were taken to assure safety before setting off. Either that, or we’re not getting your bizarre troll-like humour.

Right. I’ve joined. My flickr account has been awfully stagnant of late and I desperately need to be taking more creative photos instead of just riding snaps from the compact.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/surfr/ is me. and I’ll be starting tomorrow.

What’s all this coming into the classroom bollox? You damn well play outside in the playground until the morning bell goes. Anyone found in the school before then would usually be shot.

Now as for the OP, are you sure that 1 more child in a class of 30 odd children is going to make a massive difference for a few moments?
