Ring sky cancellations. Tell them you want to leave and see what they offer you … I’d be very suprised if they don’t try to keep you for a little longer. I moved house and didn’t want to pay £40 a month so I rang them, I pay £18 now. When that deal ends in August I’ll be back on the phone.
Worth a try unless you just want rid of sky completely

I was going to say anal glands. Are you sure you are fully emptying them?

We give our dog fibre with her food to keep her poo firm ..this helps to ensure her glands empty each time she toilets.

Finish today normally until Jan 4th but I’ve a baby due today which should land at the weekend so I’ve got an extra week off paternity leave. Not much riding time for me but I won’t complain about 24 days off

I’m being quite general here but I thought most waited until the first was about 3 yr old … Seems to be the norm with my friends

I’ve got that Tamiya jeep. It’s residing on top of my wardrobe. It hasn’t moved since I brought it back from Bahrain in 1985 when I was 8 …. It’s full of desert sand!
Loved it when I was a kid. My dad built it up for me for Xmas, a little bit each night.
When the battery dies on it (it only lasted about ten minutes) the jeep just headed off in the direction it was facing and I’d have to go running down the road after it.

Not really related to the post :-)

Get it deleted from the ECU and removed from the exhaust system.

Which is the path I chose and I’ve never looked back.

After 5 months of waiting we got the keys to our new (to us) house a fortnight ago.
Been working and throwing money at it for 2 weeks with an aim to move in next Friday.
All new heating completed today and an internal wall removed to open up the kitchen.

I’d say I can just about justify myself a beer. Can’t afford one tho :-)

Only had the galaxy for 2 months but absolutely love it.
Hugely practical. Lovely to drive. Plenty of toys in Titanium spec. Swallows kids, bikes , luggage. Plenty Of space in the rear rear seats for adults. I even love the look of it (I may be on my own in that respect,) :-)

I have a Salomen belt which holds 2 bottles and I recently signed up to a runners world magazine subscription because for a tenner you got a free camelbak Classic 2 litre hydration pack (and 6 magazines). Must be £40 ish in the shops I’d think..
Ran 14 miles last Sunday with it and it does the job. Feels minimal but carries what I need on a long run

OP – if I’m reading your post right You can do it all online now….

We were getting a new to us car. This is what we did….

We were due to collect the new car on the Saturday so We put the cherished plate on retention online on the Monday at the start of that week.
This generated an emailed retention certificate advising us to put the original plates back on the car.
It also generated a new V5 in the post from the dvla which we received on the Wednesday.
So when we took the car in to pt ex it it had the original plates on and the correct V5.
We collected the new to us car on the Saturday. We Received the v5 for that vehicle about a week later. Went online and assigned the plate to the car. this meant we could immediately put the cherished plates on it

Not sure if you follow that (or if it helps)!

Check it out online but I think you’d be best doing what we did and putting it on retention online – to do a transfer will take a lot longer

I’ve got a halfords ‘exodus’ box … Pretty big one that fits on my octavia estate.
It was up for a bargain price a few years ago plus BC discount made it too tempting.
Fits to the Thule bars in 5 minutes. Seems solid. Not had an issue with it.
not sure how secure the lock is but I don’t usually leave anything of value I the box.
Father in law has a Thule roof box which you can open from both sides which is quite handy. the exodus doesnt

Which was my second point; if I had to spend seven grand on a pet, I’d be concerned that it was poorly enough that I’d just be prolonging the agony.

That really depends on the issue.
Ours needed a new hip and she’s a hell of a lot better for it so it’s £7k well spent. It wouldn’t have been fair, at such a young age, to not have gone ahead with the op IMO.

I’d be putting the premium into a jar each month rather than paying for insurance.

I’d be £6640 worse off if I’d done that last year ! :?

Thanks, both. Problem with later Galaxys is that the seats don’t come out (which seems like a backward step, to me).

They all (easily) fold flat so still straight forward to get a bike in ..?
plus you don’t have the hassle of carting heavy seats around and storing them…

Has it had the deluge test yet! take it you put the flags down aswell?

It’s faired well so far. Had a decent amount of rain – heavy at times and it’s drained really well. I was expecting puddles but so far so good.
The flags were already down … We lifted the 2 near the gate to level them.

Weeds have since been removed :-)

We put some down last month. its only a small yard but We got a 5m wide roll so there wasn’t a join.
20 bags of sharp sand, membrane, £230 for the grass from franks and a weekends graft.
It’s lovely when the suns’s out … Can sit and play on it with the baby. Wish I’d put it down long before now.

The Dogs don’t go upstairs so the cats have their food up there, they can sleep in peace up there and they can come downstairs and bug the dogs when they feel like it
