Yeah, happy with bibs under baggies, just wondering if the pad is as good as the MTR one.

Anyone compared these to the MTR bibs comfort wise? Looking for something a bit cooler for the summer.

I drop my post an inch or so quite a bit, couldn’t live without the full 125mm+ drop though.

I just swapped my 27.2 Xfusion HiLo for a Thomson as I couldn’t get on with only having 100mm drop and it never worked that well, I also have a Reverb and Command Post on other bikes, I’ve only had one ride on the Thomson so far but I have to say it is the nicest of them all.

FWIW teamslug did my 456 in that green up there, turned out very nice indeed.

Almost tempted to get my Mega done in the same colour.

Paint / Epoxy the garage floor, so much easier when not full of crap.

If you want to learn how to make mortise and tenon joints have a look at Paul Sellers Youtube channel, makes it look very easy.

Get the slants, then you can adjust them down to 150mm if 160mm feels too much.

I had 150mm revelations on mine and never felt that they matched the bike, swapped to 160mm pikes and it now feels great.

Definately go for the medium frame with a shorter stem.

That’s what I’m using, run the 2.4 NN on the rear, plenty of grip and rolls loads better than th HD on the rear.

Can anyone confirm if the Nitefighter light heads are compatible with a Solarstorm battery?

Have you tried adjusting the brightness/contrast settings? Really bright screens will just emphasize the poor quality of an SD signal, try the ‘True Cinema’ default setting if your TV has it.

Plasma was always kinder to SD programmes.

Jungle formula max strength for protection, but if I do get one I find a face cloth soaked with hot water then put on the bite till it tingles is the best relief, lasts a couple of hours.

I have a 26″ pike on mine running at 160mm, think the AC measurement is 542mm, feels much better than my old revelation, thats with a 26″ wheel though.

From another forum regarding Di2 wires, principle should work if the holes are big enough to get the zip ties in though:

Put 3 or 4 long zip ties around the wire as it runs through the frame. They will suspend the wire away from the inside wall of the tube.

I’ll second the Lezyne Dirt Floor Drive, much much better than a standard track pump.

Yeah, a litre seems a bit overkill considering I need just 0.3ml :-)

Do you know if 15Wt rock oil would be an ok substitute?

Halfords ones, don’t get the interchangeable head ones, they’re rubbish.
