I think the results are still wrong as we have gone from 39th to 40th and totally missed our last riders time. Am sure if they add that to the results we would 27/28th (maybe wrong) as we did 10 laps not 9

I used 2.0 Mud x front and back and found them great with plenty of grip, I didnt get clogged up like other people either, I guess i was going tooo fast for the mud to stick to me or the bike 8) , it was good fun with my 1am nite lap been my highlight as the course was at its fastest.

I agree about other people have said about wiggle, the showers and the bikes washes.

But i will be back next year for my 5th time

Last year i was in the same position as you, my advice would be to keep posting everyday and am sure you will get into a team like i did last year.

I got into a team with 4 days to go as there always someone dropping out at the very last minute.

We are with Barclays for home cover, just claimed on it after my bikes got nicked hassle free to be honest but barclays use an insurance company called ival who use Wheeliesdirect for insurance claims so if your bikes get nicked thats who you get your replacements with.

I was’nt allowed cash, (insured with barclays who use ival insrance) but to be fair they have been pretty good and it pretty much hassle free.

I am designing and producing my own mud catcher and will hopefully be Put into production to soon. i am aiming to sell It £2/3 less than whats already out there. This helps by me working at a company where i can print it and make it, keeps cost down

Am looking into a tracking advice that could maybe fit ito the seat post. Am still really gutted and even when
the insurane pay out It will only be enough to buy one high spec bike instead of the 2 high spec bikes I had, so it’s a lose lose sitution. I have also put posters around Keighley and one at Gisburn yesturday, god I still feel sick thinking about it

    Thank you for all the advice……its a mind-field !
We asked them to wait til next year so that we could save up and get the whole part done in one go, which i didnt think was unreasonable ? Its a large piece of land with 1 row of garages and a large space in front and to the side. We cant even get our car (a Peugeot) in our garage due the the position of it and the wall opposite ! Nobody else parks in their garage. To top it all off the garages are knackered-the money would be better spent sorting them out !

Thank you, this is very helpful.
The deeds state that the whole space is owned by the 5 properties, but we don’t own a specific section or part. the only legal rights we have as individual properties are access to our garages (i hope this makes sense ?) I think they are in the wrong to only do part ? Im more mad that they came round and asked us for the money as soon as possible, knowing that we have a young family (they are all retired and have money in the bank-as they have told us) and got miffed off when we said we didnt have the money as we need a car as (ours is on last legs) and a family wedding abroad yet to pay for ! I just done want us getting done over by them
