Yup Dave, midweek movies has contributions from all over the place, really enjoy the variety if not every video individually.

Ed’s videos/ products/ face make the front page regularly on their own though don’t they?

Slowrider claimed he was more into flowy natural stuff, trains, beer, Wales, the seaside or naked bums.

And just generally promoting skills training in the uk…

Brant I’m flattered that you too the time to super sleuth me. I’m practically nursing a semi at the attention from a member of the clique.

You missed my point really though. As a forum member I’ve bigged up another forum member. Said forum member never plugs or promotes his business on this site, he just gets positive feedback. And obviously we are lovers.

Ed’s video, Ed’s training, Ed’s beard are all plugged on here by the people who run the forum. Quite a difference.

It’s interesting that you don’t see the difference, I wonder if I could be arsed to trawl your forum history I’d find you being able to plug your product and receiving the same preferential treatment?

    I’d do glentress AND Innerleithen

Loop of red and blue at GT, easy to spot shortcuts on the trail map if you want to keep the distance down without missing fun stuff.

Innerleithen is basically one climb and one (split) descent. Really really good fun!

I’ve never done ae, wasn’t impressed with mabie. Dalbeattie and kirroughtree were both good in very different ways. Dalbeattie is a series of tech ish moves joined by some ok singletrack and fire road. Kirroughtree has more flow and mcmoab.

what a pair of miserable bastards………..

also YOU are also allowed to plug YOUR video on here too……just post one for us all to critique.
we will be honestly open with our judgement.

Not miserable at all, just thought it was naff. My 2p worth.

Plugged by stw towers rather than a forum member, quite a difference IMO. far better vids out there that don’t get plugged because they aren’t in the clique.

Cheers for the critique offer, I understand how the forum works thanks.

I learned loads from my public day. It was a real mixed group but somehow we all got loads out of it.

The 2-1 I had a few months later was even better though!

Ha, not me personally! I meant I’m near you but Jedi is still closer than antur. Come see me if you like, I can show you every single way not to do it so all that’s left is correct technique….

I’m in stapleford near nots. Less than 2 hrs drive easy so far closer than antur.

And yes, you can do all sorts of jumps there. Lots bigger than the doubles you mention

Wanted to get my dad a custom jersey for his 60th this year as he’s riding the off road C2C.

Wasn’t sure whether to go full custom or get a decent jersey and some iron on lettering. Any thoughts?

Sizeable is bigger than I thought was rideable, bigger than my wheels easy. Then when I discovered they were rideable he went and demonstrated that one’s twice the size were rideable too. I haven’t quite got there yet…

I think the last thing I learned was to ride over sizeable fallen trees. That was on an xc ride with Jedi last summer. Cheers dude!

It is a wicked feeling for sure; riding a new line, jump or stunt is good but something completely new is ace!

Interesting, can you link it to your phone so you can check the angle and stuff?

Can you even do that with a go pro or am I making that up?

    You’ve all fallen for it!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Horas bike and he knows it. Earlier this week I sold my bike and bought a new one because it was too big. Hora is blatantly trying the same excuse with his mrs!

Was there a sweepstake on how long he kept this one?

How many cranks do you think cam zink put in at rampage?

Maybe a few but not as many as you’d need on your average dh track

Mows a good time to buy, quite a lot of discounts out there on 2014 stuff.

I’ve just ordered a new bike myself. To make a short list I went on a pinkbike ‘show us your am bike’ type thread and did a bit of googling on anything I liked the look of.

Glad I did as the bike I chose wasn’t even on my radar before.

No way I’ll take the guide off my dh bike even with a narrow/wide and clutch mech. For the sake of a few hundred grams it’s going nowhere and it’s got the bash guard to boot.

Big fan of the narrow/wide on my trail bike and never lost the chain at all despite trying hard. Don’t want the first time to be cranking in to a big gap jump though!

Look good don’t they? I’m tempted too as a play bike. I had a banshee rampant which was ace, just bushings instead of bearings. Was a problem on the first set, they were gone in a month! Next set are still running under the mate I sold it to. He uses it as an all rounder and it’s really capable, worth looking around for as an alternative.

    Mavic 823?

I had a crash from height and speed in the back of a landing that cracked a dh frame. front wheel still straight…

    Give me your overshoe reviews

They are one of the stupidest things i have ever seen. shoes don’t need overshoes unless you are wearing the wrong shoes.

Took me a while to decide what I thought of the colour but I love it now.

Was tempted to put purple hope parts on it but tbh I’m crap with colour coordination so it would no doubt look topping very quickly.

Can’t work out how to post the pic so here’s the Pinkbike link[/url]
