Just done the same… P.Ex’d a dying T4 (but going) and bought a Tourneo Custom LWB, as the equivalent T5 was about 25% more. Went tourneo as this gives removable seats in the back. Just ‘using’ it at the moment before doing a stealth camper fit out

We packaged up my mates bikes when he was emigrating. Cleaned, scrubbed, and then cleaned again with disinfectant.

As far as I know, no problems at customs. We did use a lot of disinfectant – full families worth of bikes (along with all the outdoor kit)

Thanks… Might be just a matter of looking and trying. Just didn’t want to travel to see it if it was a non starter

Thanks… I had read your earlier thread. Very useful.

I’ll let you know if I find anything about the rear seats

Malvern Rider…. Where do you get the Earl Grey Rooibos? Never seen that before (usually a normal Rooibos/ Twinings at home, Yorkshire Tea at work cos that’s what is provided)

9hrs 26 minutes of type 2 fun for me…. Being on top of Windy Gyle as the weather closed in was not the highlight. Actually come to think of it, what were the highlights??

So much harder than last year… Apparently only about 20 out of 76 starters finished.

Still, a great event, small, family run, free from any corporate shenanigans, and very friendly. Hats of to the marshals being out in that weather all day.

Such a shame there won’t be a repeat performance next year! (I think!)

My brother’s Vw Bottle. Had to adjust the timing before starting it every time. Still pissed off he took my car for a summer job up north and left me with The Beetle as a runaround.

Our Bosch lasted 10 years…when it broke, and as we’re looking at moving we bought a cheap Kenwood to tied us over (leaving it) for 6 months.

Massive mistake, poor washing quality, and seems to take a lot less stuff inside for the same size

XFusion Halo here, came with a under seat lever and a remote cable. Fixed the seat lever so I can swap it between bikes.

Thanks jekkyl…. like you, I think that’s sorted this evening’s viewing. Hopefully Mrs Sheeps will be working late and not play her veto.

    bookmarks for future reference….

I’ve got a lovely vienna regulator which I inherited from my late father – he was a bit of a clock buff, and he struggled to get it to go sometimes. me… can’t get it to go at all. level (side to side, front to back) but will not go.

Makes a lovely piece of wall art, but would be extra useful if it told the time more than twice a day*

is it only me who’s reminded of the opening scene of Withnail – even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day…

My boys are getting it for Xmas…. 8, and nearly 6 and nearly 6. Probably too late by the posts above… although I think Mrs Sheeps has realised it might be just as much a present for me as them (4 cars!)

Nearly all architectural practices are moving towards 3rd parametric software, such as revit. Most of our graduates don’t know how to use autocad, only revit.

    And revit doesn’t do macs

I’ll never forget my mum parking ours in the drive, followed by a major clunk. Turns out the engine had fallen out!

Second to wire wool for filling the entry gaps… Not met a mouse that can chew through that yet!

Sonic thingys seem to be effective (ish) but we need 1/room with brick walls. The live ones the cat brings in can seem to get away fast enough (but that may have something to do with being chased by a fat cat)

Under the fork crown there should be a threaded hole, so remove the bracket, drill a small hole in the mudguard and bolt to the underside. (or at least that’s how my 4 works!)

I have a pair of Vaude ones off of that Amazon. Very similar to Ortelib but cheaper (still very waterproof). Comes with metal wire security loops for locking a rack if needs be.

As far as I’ve read, not all dual sim phones allow 4g data off both sims?

In my line of work (warehouse design) it means loading both trains and lorries… But I’m guessing that’s not quite what a 7 year olds teacher is getting at. I like the boob theory

    Mbuk published a proper hard route years and years ago… Not sure I’ve still got a copy of the map, but basically as follows;
Whitehaven to ennerdale, black sail pass to wasdale head, styhead to langdale, (can’t remember) Troutbeck up onto high Street, along and then down to lowther (?), cross Eden Valley to Dufton, up cross fell (northern side) and down to Garrigill and the pick up trad c2c route on railway paths to consett and the Sunderland or Newcastle

(sorry for random capitalisation.. Autocorrect on Android)

I did that bit stwhannah last year… It’s was wet (very wet) and substantial parts of the bridleway was like a river! Rideable river mind you!

There’s also a river crossing near Naithwaite without a bridge

When my brother was about 5 (I was 7) he was looking through the the patio doors and I ran up behind him and pushed… Cue head straight through one of the panes and lots of cuts around his neck. Still remember the pain of the slipper (my dad was a vicar!)

Followed a few years later by kicking the panels out of a door to get to him. Managed to patch that one up before dad noticed.

Good thing he lives in Australia… Otherwise we’d still be trying to take chunks out of each other! (we’re in our 40’s)

How did you protect the decals… Presuming that they were applied after you got the frame back from LSN? Additional lacquer coat self applied or what?
