Depends on design and tube choice as been said already. I’ve a Dialled Bikes Morning Glory and used to have a Cotic Soda (original type)the Cotic was comfy and had a very lively spring to its ride, the MG I think sits between Steel and Alu in feel, stiff as Alu, a bit more comfy than Alu but it doesn’t have the same liveliness about it that the Cotic had.

Got the 14 and the 20, prefer the pics from the 20, but as kinghtrider says its damm slow focusing. The lens I like a lot is the Olympus 15mm bodycap, fixed focus (sort of) fixed aperture but its slim and not bad for the price.

Done a Desire HD rooted and unlocked, tried flashing it with a number of different builds from ICS (4.0) complete with late versions skinned with late versions of HTC Sense to JB (4.1) builds with no skins. The JB run a lot smoother and quicker.

The XDA forums have sections on various devices, with hotwo/reference posts and a multitude of various builds to try.

Just use normal cable ties and put them into a sort of a figure eight loop, I use them that way to keep cable outers rubbing against each other.

With those you have to adjust/push the tyre onto the roller so easy to get it slightly too hard and get tyre wear or other way and get slippage. With a lot of the Elite range your weight pushes the tyre onto the roller hence same tyre wear as if on the road. The Elastogel is basically a larger roller made of a material that makes is a lot quieter.

Downside is that you need to stop the front wheel from moving otherwise you suffer tyre slip.

I’d move the TV into the garage, otherwise you’ll need the windows open in the room in your house you use it in.

Elite elastogel fluid, quiet, no real tyre wear and just change gear to increase/decrease resistance

Got a remote shutter release today, so first ever experiment in creating some startrails, only 12 shots stitched together but I’ll think I will give it a proper go on a really clear evening.

Have a look at some of the boards/systems here >>

    http://www.mini-itx.com/store

There are quite a few passively cooled mini ITX motherboards to choose from, also some half built systems like the Zotac Zbox. Whilst an Intel Atom CPU will have the grunt for what you propose will the Intel graphics cope, wouldn’t something with an Nvidia chipset or AMD which will offload the video away from the CPU allow for a cooler running and possibly fanless system.

I’ve been on a car allowance for the past 12 years, way better than a fleet car, means I get what I want when I want without any rules on particular brands (I stuck to one that’s not normally on the fleet books) My view is that I’d have to have a car anyway so the allowance allows me to choose something a bit better that will mean I wont crawl out of it crippled after a long days driving.

The R-Pi is a lot more flexible than the Arduino, however the R-Pi is a bit lacking compared to the Arduino. But there are plenty of options for the R-Pi like the Gertboard as an example.

I was one of the original right at the front of the queue people for the R-Pi and did a fair bit of early firmware testing and wifi troubleshooting (and some Citrix stuff for work) but as soon as the Rev2 came out I had one of those too it’s more refined and the Raspbian distro has come on leaps n bounds and is quite usable now.

I’m well impressed with my Samsung Series 7 Chronos, quad core I7 8Gb of RAM with a 1Tb hard disk speeded up with a 8Gb flash drive and Nvidia GT640 Optimus graphics. It’s under an inch thick and it embarrasses my old AMD 1075T desktop when it comes to processor grunt.

I went from 17st8 to 14st10 between Jan & May this year, managed to keep to 15st for the rest of the year, so it’s doable ans as said above the right diet combined with a good training plan and it’ll come off.

Its worth having a look at some of the instructional videos on Youtube on Focus Stacking, which can work just as well on normal photography as on Macro. This video helped me with it >>

Or go for a Raynox macro conversion lens, means your lens keeps all its functions and you can use it across a number of different lenses.

Here’s the DCR250 http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/dcr/dcr250/indexdcr250eg.htm which is about mid-point in their range
