I work full time.

In the summer I ride 4 times a week, hit the gym 3 days a week and try and do yoga every morning or evening.

In winter it is more like 2 rides a week and 5 times in the gym.

I take it youre not a family man and single then ?.

I’ve got the same front with no problems whatsoever !,I guess it all depends on terrain ,pressures, riding style etc etc !,and suspension if you’re pushing the front ??…you could just slow down !

Kerosene & chain lube dosn’t soften metal & make it stretch now does it ??.. Plus you can’t over maintain anything can Ya ?.

So Leavin it wet & caked in shit uncleaned & unlubed makes it last longer ?,well I never !..

They’re stretching !,I clean em after every ride ,with kerosene ,dry them them lube them prior to every ride !.. Weights not a major issue,I just want a durable chain,I do like the gold kmc like but issit me ?.

What sort of life does one supposed to have ?.

With a blob of silcone !,turn the wheel till the nipple hits the silcone,let it dry ,no more annoying noise !.. Simples ..

Lee,I know i’ve spoke to you about the upgrades that I did on mine, i’d do as suggested above, get it bought and then sell them whilst they’re new, as that’s what I did..

my Raceface BB failed pretty quickley, as them top hats are made of cheese, Orange fitted me a Hope one, I popped it over for them to look at !..remember this isn’t a dear bike,so certain parts are lets say, Budget parts, so start there,bb,h’set,brakes,wheels etc.. 😉

I’ve got some and try as I might I couldn’t get them to inflate ,with new maxxis hr2 3c tyres,I tried every trick in the book ,in the I put slime tubes in,I’ve got stans on my other 2 bikes & they w’re easier,I’ve done about 50 miles in em so I mite try it again !.

Use both Uberbike sintered and matrix,on hope & Uberbike discs ,no issues with either !…

I’d be looking at the conditions in relation to pads etc .. & regularly strip the pads out clean & dry them & the discs,especially this weather .

I tapped another one !, so its fixed on 2 points as I used the go pro part of the mount off that bracket on ebay in my link, its only £4 kwid, them k edge are £20+ to do the same job, I utilised there bolts too, its m4/5 if I remember, its not a big job or too fiddly either, as the light body is only ally, it makes a very neat compact mount onto the helmet, as the last thing you want is a great big thing sticking up off ure head..
