Scottchegg Im not usually hard on the brakes but if your familer with Hayfield it was coming through the farm yard back down to the main rd,its a fair old descent like,but I’m always open to constructive critism… 🙂

Its obviousley a frozen moisture thing !,i try & blow mine dry with an airline after washing,even in the summer,prior to re-lubing,i appreciate not everyones got an airline,or you can just put the wife outside to sleep,so you can put it indoors somewhere warm…..;-)
It’s not lack or quality of grease that’s bothering them then. either cones have slipped and they’re too tight or they’re worn/pitted. strip, clean, inspect. rebuild/replace as appropriate
To be Honest Onza they were brand new earlier this year & have been greased 2/3 times,so i wouldn’t have thought theres any wear really,i could be wrong !, & theyve never been apart either,but i dunno how much servicing they need,do you ??..
My 7yr old wears Aldi walkin boots to ride,& sports direct cycling gear its cheap as chips,shorts,tights,tops jackets etc,you’ll get the lot for £50….a decent helmets a must tho,he wears a met,was about 40/£50,as I say,you’ve only got one head!.
