I think it appears bigger as being right after a tight corner you go over slowly, that is if we are talking about the same bit

I have got this the speed adjuster working but a normal bleed would not fix my fault. I have watched the sram video countless times and follow every step so I know I’m not doing anything wrong. Today I did a full system bleed then a lever bleed following advice on here, I did this for a while till I had no air bubbles but still the speed adjuster had little to no effect and my post was flying back up at an alarming rate, the way I sorted it was to set to full slow, crack of the t10 bleed screw at the lever and turn the adjuster slightly untill a small amount of oil came out then tighten up the screw, each time I did this the post got slower, repeated this untill I was happy with the slowest return speed, now my slow setting Is actually slow and my fast setting is testical smashing speed

Thanks for your recommendations, I have opted for a Aiston rack, Bryan was extremely helpful and answered all my questions I emailed him. Have order a twin bike rack where the second rack is an add on so I can use it as a single rack most of the time, I only have a small car so didn’t want to have the extra rack on when not in use

How will I know if it won’t work? Will it not take up the chain slack on the small rings?

You can do it the same, the weld with go rusty but so is he mild steel exhaust. You would get better results with gas instead of flux core

Was in halfords today and saw a Thule 9502. Any body have one of these? I am thinking more about the type that bolts to the tow ball, seems more secure, do the others move at all just clamped onto the tow ball?

Sounds simular to my marzocchi forks, they have a wiper seal with another oil seal underneath

    pondy

What oil seal are you referring too? There was a plastic tyre seal on the damper then 2 o rings down the bottom where the circlip goes

I Have a bit pvc pipe I used to push the seals in, also have Pvc pipe cut down the centre in two halves so I can push seals in when lowers are fitted. Fork has been fine since I posted

I got my oil measures from the sram manual, what came out of the fork is what the manual states (wanted to know if it had the correct amount in from new) everything inside was cleaned of old oil and correct amount put back in

I’m going to run these with tubes, they are on a bike that is mainly used for local rides and using for work, should be fine?

These look a lot smaller in pics. Think it’s best to just try them tube less and see what happens?.

The rim is a crest, the side of the rim has a slight outward bulge and flat spot on the top. I will get a few pictures tomorrow. My concern is the socket in the rim which the tyre locks into has Been pushed down.

I thought about uk bike store as have had loads of bits from them in the past, their website doesn’t work so not sure if they are still going, I have emailed windwave also. Not having much luck with these forks, they perform great but due to issues I’m on my 3rd replacement set and this pair has already had a new axle as the bolt snapped when using the quick release straight out of the box, it was not even tight, now this which admittedly is my fault as I think I had it to tight

If its the washers between the swingarm and bearings I had an issue when fitted the updated swingarm. The washers on the old swingarm were not thick enough and the swingarm could be levered side to side slightly, cotic sent me new ones which were thicker

Thanks for the reply loco. Sound like a bit of a step backward damping wise. Any forks you would recommend to fit my needs?

I have no pressure in my ifp. Fox no longer sell the tool, any idea how to inflate?

I got the shoes, they fitted fine but the sole was really hard, almost like plastic and I found it has little grip and was very sloppy to walk in, I have had walking shoes from the same make before and the soles started to peel off. Took them Back this morning and got a refund, they didn’t even open the box

i shall be sticking with oil. as i needed a new boiler it was just an option to see if it was going to be any better, as it turns out its going to be much much worse. due to a small garden my oil tank does take alot of room so it would be great to get rid of that in replacement for bottles but due to how fast you could get through and the inconvenience of calling so regular to get replacement bottles, i didnt know it would get through them so fast, when the colour guy said in the winter you would need a pair of bottles every 3 weeks, not really a strong selling point…
some one else did mention about colour customer services being poor, i couldn’t agree more from the brief conversations i have had with them, i first called monday to enquire about it, got told i need to speak to another department, put through to them and get the same thing, nothing to do with them, call so and so. so come today i finally got what i set out for, a price!

another issue i have is this, when i first looked at the house i didnt really know what to look for, checked everything out, check heating and hot water works, checked boiler looks ok with no apparent leaks etc and was presented with a oftec certificate to show its been fitted correctly and signed off. brought the house and had a guy service it, he took 3 hours and mentioned he did not like the install, was poor and was hard to get to (its under my stairs and about half the boiler it in show of the door opening, the other is behind the wall with around a foot gap between)
around 12 months later i get another plumber to service it who is an oftec inspector. he basically condemned it saying the installation was all wrong and pointed out a long list 0f faults to me which became obvious when pointed out to me. apparently it is in his power to contact oftec who could have it shut down but as he did an efficiency test and it operates ok and im not in any danger it went no further. i dont think this plumber is trying to rip me off, he did not pressure me into buying anything, just said he is not servicing it and putting his name on it.
it quite an old boiler, plumber mentioned its not a great make and parts can take a while to get hold of and are expensive. it has now developed a rather bad water leak after being run for an hour, had all covers off and all pipe work is dry so can only assume is leaking from deeper inside. i cant see the logic of spending money fixing it and moving it into a better location when i could have a new more economical boiler from a better manufacture.

so im stuck with a boiler which is incorrectly fitted but an oftec certificate saying it is? surely the person who signed it off didn’t do his job properly, do you think i would get anywhere if i contacted oftec?

Dont go along, its a scam. I listed a car for sale and got it all. Same scenario about paypal with courier to collect ( a courier to collect a car….) oil rig workers, out of county, birthday gift for my son etc etc

cant help with this model but I have a set of 44 micro switch ta and could find nothing online about servicing them. I contacted Shaun at wind wave and he sent me an exploded diagram, but am sure it can be downloaded from marzocchi website. on mine is was simple, I just removed all any adjusters on the top, undo both top caps, removed the nuts from the bottom, slide both cartridges out and pulled the lowers off, oil specs were way off from factory, hardly any oil in the legs. wind wave recommend removing the foam wipers under the seals if they are fitted as they cause stiction, you can lube them but it comes back as they dry out. I put suspension grease on the oil seals, wiper seals and the between the seals were the foam ring used to be, has been stiction free for many rides,

I have a pushed rp23, mine does the same, can also hear it when riding over bumps slowly when sitting down with pro pedal off, dug out my invoice from the work tf tuned done and word for word it says

‘you may notice more of a whooshing noise than before, especially on the rebound stoke. this is the oil moving past more shims and is normal and healthy’

I just got my other half to measure my hight again and I can add another 3/4″ :D just a tad under 6 ft. Following the cotic guide I am on the upper end of the med and lower end of a large. I have a medium hemlock, its a med, the seat tube is 17.5″ but that’s from top to centre of chain stay pivot, top to centre of bb is19″. Top tube is 23.25 with a 70mm stem.

A large soul is a 19″ seat tube so much the same and a 24″ top, and I have a 60 mm stem so will work out around the same. The bike is mainly going to be used in the winter on ,my local trails, its completely flat, no climbs, no downhills, just mile after mile of smoothish windy single track, lots of long rides in the saddle, also used for road commute to work. Have found a large soul for £150 posted which is Inn good nick
