then trap 1, trap 2 etc until all traps are full

But you CANNOT shut the door!

A bloke who locks himself in a cubicle just for a pee is not normal. Even worse would be a sit-down-wee-wee type. Freaks!!

A turd layed in the middle urinal (either fake or real) could also work.

If you’re not supposed to use the middle one then why have 3?

I guess it’s for emergency situations, for those who are really busting for a pee so don’t mind invading peoples personal space, or they think peeing in a sit down cubicle is just weird.

It doesn’t help that he stands with his legs so wide apart you can’t get central on the one your trying to use without almost rubbing legs with him.

I didn’t mention I’m his boss, is it time to pull rank?! (poor choice of words there perhaps)

No he doesn’t look but he does make this incredibly loud foreskin clacking sound when he’s shaking the drips off.

    Bleurghh!! :(

    hideous?
**** hell mate, I know I am no oil painting, but I have feelings you know…………..

Did I say hideous, apologies I meant to say, erm…ocularly distressing.

Do you know the person? How did they know it was you (on Strava) that removed the obstacle?

Could you just create a new profile and start again?

I think I must be missing something here. A quick scan through the posts above would put me in a minority in thinking it’s hideous?

Possibly a bit too niche for my mainstream tastes, although I did have PRST1 back in the day!

    2) work out how fast the peleton need to go to get to the finish in that same amount of time (distance / time)

But you don’t know how far they are away, you only have a gap time so your ‘distance’ in the equation is unknown.

The cyclingnews equation is a little more complicated than I expected, but then it does give more information than I asked for.

I wondered if it could be expressed as a percentage in terms of the dist to go and gap time. For example; they need to go ‘5% faster’ than the leading group.

For clarity I meant the trombone and not the OP!!! (just noticed his name 8O )

Relevant to the OP himself rather than the post content..

What an unusual job he has! (according to the website in his profile)

    Hand painted archery target maker!!

    Just sayin.

Would still never ever ever buy any brakes from SRAM/Avid though..

    Why’s that out of interest?

They came on a new bike, 2016 Whyte T130 RS, only been ridden 4 times and had issues with them on every ride despite the work done by the shop and myself.

Never been a Shimamo fan to be honest, always liked Avids and the Guide RS’s on my Capra are great brakes.

The shop has offered to exchange them to anything I want, giving me CRC cost price for the XTs as an offset. Might switch them to RS’s.

How much does one round up by?

The calculator might come up with a decimal number, something point something-or-other.

Spokes aren’t necessarily readily available in 1mm increments so you might have to round up to the nearest length. Anything less than 2-3mm should be ok, especially if you use the Mavic number (598mm) in the Wheelpro calc.

    Of course this is only my humble opinion but my tip would be;

Don’t be tempted to keep tightening! You can build a decent wheel without going overboard with the spoke tension.

EDIT: Mavic spoke support diameter IS NOT the same as ERD, so be careful using the info posted above /\

True, it’s the difference between the spoke finishing at the back side of the eyelet or the end of the nipple. It’s unlikely to be make that much difference, especially if you round up the spoke length calculation.

    Copy the 3 cross lacing pattern of another wheel and use the following;

    Spoke calc

    And BRASS nipples.

Not being funny but that was 2mins on Google?

I think you should change your forum name to ‘rabbit’eater!

Or, rabbitpuker to be even more accurate.

I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence that the ‘solo’ types are the ones posting but the above has really surprised me. I would have expected the opposite, with the majority riding with mates or in a group.

    Thanks leftyboy,

The freehub is defo seated properly and obviously there’s a fair bit of sideways clamping force when I tighten the axle, yet it still falls off. I reckon the o-ring in the end cap might be a little undersized.

    Both

    Each bring different experiences.

I like riding on my own when I just want to do my own thing, ride at my own pace, go where it like, stop when I like etc.

But riding with a group of mates can sometimes give you that impetus to get out, ride new trails, improve your riding and just be a laugh.

    I echo above sentiments.

It’s prompted me to have another crack at BB.

Watched the first one and a half series and gave up but I’m now half way through series 5

The kids do complain that ‘nothing’s happening’ though

I’ve got a 25 and rate it as a simple navigation device to follow breadcrumb style routes.

However, just a word of caution, the syncing using Garmin Express is awful.

You can directly drop FIT files into the New Files folder on the device (despite what some user guides say) but the dist-to-end function doesn’t work when you’re following a course.

I’ve also had issues with course failures when syncing to the device directly from an iPhone 6S, even if the course was created within Garmin Connect. Very frustrating.

I don’t necessarily disagree but your reaction above could be construed as a bit melodramatic…

Perhaps you’re right. I’m just a bit sensitive about it that’s all. Apologies.

I doubt he really meant anything by it

It’s just homophobia by the back door!

An insult here, a stereotype there, it’s this kind of accepted nonsense that marginalises potentially vulnerable sectors of society!

if you’re pulling apart, you might want to get a set of Hope Pro 3 pawls and springs, to upgrade the free hub. fit and work perfectly

Have you tried this or just read it?

That’d be good if it’s accurate.

Are you hanging out the back of poison spider whilst your actually typing this shit?

    Excuse me!!!

As a gay man I find that comment inexcusably homophobic!!

Perhaps I should start a thread titled ‘Save me from the STW discriminators!’

How you can possibly position yourself on the moral high ground when you come out with abuse like that is beyond me.

I think you need to give up on this one now, admit you were hasty in posting and thank everyone for correctling you so comprehensively.

    Why should you think that?

Because part of the conversation (yes I listened in, get over it) was about future rides and their focus on other people joining them simply because their Strava segment times were getting too close to each other, and ‘we can’t have that!’

Had the title been worded slightly different I think my reaction would have been slightly different.

    Seriously? 8O

Your whole moral standpoint on ‘eavesdropping’ etc etc blah blah is based on the words ‘Save me’???

Bit of a kneejerk reaction don’t ya think?
