This reminds me of when I used to fly radio controlled aircraft.
The weather forecast for one particular weekend was awful, high winds and rain all weekend, so instead of turning up with all the normal models we decided we’d set up a computer with a simulator in the cabin cook a curry and just generally have a bit laugh.
The computer was supplied by the secretary’s 14 year old son.

i also own a van full of expensive tools so can fully understand the need for reversing up the drive.
Those on here suggesting you park up the road really haven’t a clue. I wonder how many of them would be happy to park their car 100m up the road overnight, with their mountain bike left in the back?
But, tbh I’m not convinced that you couldn’t get out of the drive without cutting up the grass.
If this really is the case, then these are your answer, along with a packet of grass seed. After these went in I’d completely ignore her if she kicked off about anything else, some people just aren’t happy unless they’re moaning about something!

We no longer have her but our cross terrier demolished, my glasses (2 pairs), my socks, my liner shorts, the gate, the board that I put over the hole in the gate, the wheel of the wheelie bin, the corner of the skirting, and a perfectly half round bite out of a model aircraft wing that had taken many hours of work, along with licking the glass on the iguana tank so much, it was impossible to clean.
Coupled with the fact she was an absolute loon that seemed to come out with a different annoying habit every couple of weeks she was challenging to say the least!

42 when no3 came along, came as a bit of a shock at first, then I remembered my wedding night a few weeks earlier.
So 3 boys later, 9,7 and 3, I’m constantly knackered, I never get out on the bike anymore due to house renovations, but wouldn’t have it any other way.
There’s nothing better than coming home after a long day to be attacked by 3 mini me’s, think along the lines of a pack of hyenas bringing down a gazelle.
Anyhow for what it’s worth we didn’t notice a massive difference between 1 and 2 kids as we still had most of the stuff knocking around from no’1.
    3 kids? Now that’s a different story!
Also every one of them has been a different experience, so what happened with your first won’t necessarily be the same with your second.
Finally, enjoy every moment with them as babies, because it’s scary just how quick they grow up!!

At that price range forget anything cordless to drill masonry.
Having had a quick look at screwfix this is your best bet, however it’s a tenner over budget.

There is a sds titan one in budget, which is a great drill but it’s huge! ( I was breaking up some concrete with one the weekend )

    Great news!
Both myself and the wife bank with the Co-op
and my wife’s account was hacked a few weeks ago, albeit for a lot less than yours.
They refunded the money immediately after a few questions, but they did state that the hackers knew every bit of her security information and it looked to all intents and purposes as though the transaction was undertaken by herself.
Off the back of that I googled Co-op bank and the top hit was an advert on Google which took you to a very convincing website which looked like the banks own login page. I gave them a call and reported it.
Currently running a full scan on my own laptop off the back of this thread!

Another option along the lines of the dispatch could be a Toyota Proace.
I’ve got the model based on the old dispatch/expert body style, however Toyota have updated their latest version to look completely different. Seems like there’s a 2.0l
Version available so shouldn’t be short on power.

I would have been 16 my next door neighbour about 14 and Eammon Andrews had just died.

Anyhow, I overheard him and a few mates messing about with a ouiji board in the conservatory whilst I was out in the back garden.

Then they decided to try and contact Eamonn and asked the immortal words, “is there anybody there?”

It was at this point I threw a small stone up onto the plastic roof, which was closely followed by “Did you hear that? did you hear that?” nervously coming from them all.

When they asked again, Is there anybody there? This time I threw a small handful of stones up.
To say mild panic broke out is an understatement, with shouts “Smash the glass! smash the glass!!” and them all panicking and running out from the conservatory into the garden.

How they never heard me tittering away on the other side of the fence I’ll never know.

Sorry to hijack – anyone know where I can buy a cheap worktop? It’s for my workshop so I don’t care about colour/design as long as it’s strong enough not to flex.

Picked up a 3m worktop from Selco today on special offer for £22.
You will need an account though.

They’re called Rosemary tiles. So search for a rosemary roof tile vent.
    Edit.
Having just had a quick look on the web they are also known as plain tiles, so a search for that as well will give the right results.

To be able to go about my day to day life without feeling like I have to constantly battle bad luck / Murphy’s law, call it what you will.
Don’t get me wrong, I always get there (mostly) but it always seems like a proper pita to get the seemingly most simple jobs done.
Even my workmate remarked the other day he reckons I’m jinxed!

That, and getting out on my bike more.

I’m in the same dilemma and was going to be building my own shed/summerhouse in next the next couple of months. This is where I’m looking at buying everything,
    http://www.timber-shiplap-cladding.co.uk/

But, I’m very tempted by the log cabins on here, I haven’t actually worked out all the prices yet but I can’t really see it being that much different to building my own.

Expert/ dispatch/ scudo. With the added bonus of sliding doors either side.
Granted not small but not exactly massive either. I had a scudo for about 7 years and it was fantastic little van.
Great for bike carrying duties also, 3 fully assembled bikes in the back no problem.
Door locks are prone to playing up though so make sure you check they all work.

Assuming that it’s brick behind, I’d be knocking the plaster off the corner, going back about 4″ onto the flat walls, then drilling and screwing a piece of timber to the wall allowing for a small piece of plasterboard. Bead the corner, scrim tape over the joint then fill it out with some bonding, finally skim over.
Alternatively, You could probably just form a corner with a couple bits of plasterboard and some board adhesive.
Either way, go back onto flat walls a bit to blend in new/ old plaster.

Had a works Christmas dinner with Steve Bull at his restaurant, along with another 15 or so workmates. He immediately took the piss out of my height.
Sat at same table with him, where he told many stories, the funniest always seemed to involve Paul Gascoigne for some reason!
Afterwards a night at the horses, thoroughly nice bloke.

Mate of mine had a MkII Escort with a similar problem, only it was the seat back latch (it was a 2-door with foldy-forward seats to get in the back). So every time he gave it beans, which given that he’d have been about 19 and in a MkII Escort was “every time he set off,” there’d be a *snap* and you’d be looking at the ceiling with your head on the back seat.

When my BIL 1st started dating my sister he also had a Mkll escort as did I, and he’d fitted bodged some bucket seats into his.
Anyhow, my sister told me that one day they had a bit of a tiff so she got out and walked away, meanwhile he revved his engine and went to race off, only problem being that the front seat bolts ripped straight through the floor, and he ended up on his back staring at the roof. She said she turned around to see the car trundling along into the kerb, with just a pair of feet by the steering wheel.
She said, I just shook my head and thought ‘Knob’

I’d just use 22mm tanalised shiplap or 25mm log lap. It should carry a 15 year guarantee against rot. Treat it again before fitting and then another coat once you’ve made your panels up. The fact it’s actually protected against the weather by your garden walls means it’ll probably outlast the rest of the shed.

I’m no expert, but if you do go poking around inside the bell box, be very careful if it has a strobe light as I believe it has very high voltages present to power it.
I’m sure one of the engineers on here will say for sure?

I had a similar issue with a Peugeot 306 td.
I’d brought some good pads that were supposed to give off less dust. The discs seemed to warp within 12 months, I changed to some cheap bog standard pads and never suffered the problem again. To be fair though it does seem you may have already tried this.

My brother was being shown round a house where the owner had recently died, they walked into the living room to find his wake taking place, one of the relatives burst into tears sobbing “this isn’t right, this isn’t right!”
Needless to say, they didn’t buy that one.

Mates 21st birthday party, I was already in a relationship but knew she wasn’t the one.
Gradually got more and more hammered so sat down to talk to some mates, she suddenly appeared with a bottle of Newcastle brown ale for me, needless to say she got my attention. We hit it off, but I found out she was only 17 and and I was 26, I thought it was a no go, anyhow we went back to the flat where the party was to continue. She left shortly after when she walked into the kitchen and found me snogging the face off another girl.
Two weeks later I spotted her in a bar shouted ” Ello Gorgeous” and she fell for my charm again :P
Anyhow long story short, few dates later (even though I kept thinking she was too young) I dumped the girlfriend and 17 years and 3 kids later I realise some things are just meant to be! :D

Mia and Vincent from Pulp Fiction.
Easy costumes, and you can blow them away with your dance moves to you never can tell.
Worked for me and the missus, not sure we amazed them with our dance moves, but by then I was too hammered to care!
