I thought making up “quotes” and attributing them to his interview subjects was more his thing

That’s not what he did. He plagiarised quotes from other interviews that his subjects had given previously, and then claimed that they’d said them in HIS interview.

I don’t know the answer, but Viewranger support by email are good – they’ve always solved any issues I’ve had really quickly.

They’ve just confirmed that Ratboy will be racing tomorrow too.

Will have a look later, thanks. Any idea how I get hold of a replacement if it is?

Edric 64 is much too cool for this forum.

Just ordered a bargain 3L reservoir… thanks for the tip.

If you mean one of those self-inflating ones, they’re surprisingly weighty. A foam one would be lighter.

Sicilian tapas place – it’s easy to find, pretty much next to House of Fraser. Me and the missus have been there pre-gig (ie early evening) on our last two visits to Manchester – always nicely busy, even at that time. And the food is ace (especially the meatballs), they bring it to you when it’s ready in whatever order it’s ready.

I was hoping for Florence & The Machine

I was at Latitude in 2010 when Florence and the Machine headlined the main stage. I watched The National instead. They were ace.

Well I’ve read it several times now and I still have no idea what OP is trying to say. And I live in Sheffield too, so I can’t put it down to not understanding his accent.

Thanks for the replies. Do I need to add washers or anything or is it OK just to fit as it is?

    Yes. You get the Crown.

There’s a wealth of mid 90s Britpop cack that vanished as quickly as they appeared.
    Kula Shaker?
    Dodgy?
    Boo Radleys?

I’ll give you Dodgy and Kula Shaker, but Boo Radleys were a cut above. They’d been around a good while before they cashed in on Britpop with Wake Up Boo. Giant Steps (1993) is a stunning album.

No idea if the location is suitable for you, but the Hoxton in Shoreditch is ace and not too silly on price. Excellent late bar and really good breakfast too.

Not entirely sure what all the fuss is about. My missus ordered every figure for Xbox Disney Infinity while they were listed for 1p. Her order was cancelled.

I think it’s ace. Not quite up there with The Sopranos or The Shield but pretty good all the same. I’m one episode away from the very end and will be sorry to see it finish. The last two series (6 and 7) have been the best, so its worth sticking with in my opinion. The series set in Ireland was indeed a bit ropey.

I’m amazed nobody’s mentioned The Sopranos yet. So that, and The Shield.

All seven Death Cab For Cutie albums are ace. The eighth is released next year, and will also be ace.

As I’d only had it a week I took it back to the LBS and they kindly put it back together for me! Didn’t realise you could open it up from the base, is it simple to do? That would make life easier when I want to add some more grease to it. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for that gonetothehills. Yes I had the lever engaged when I was trying to put it back together, so that’s not the problem. I’m relieved to hear I’m not the only person with this issue – just need to get it sorted now…

Not sure it’s relevant, but to be specific it’s a RSP Plummet.

Slightly more serious answer: possibly Peaty’s bike jumble event in Sheffield. Oh, and I’m often up there on a Sunday but I was driving home from a wedding in Chichester today, so you wouldn’t have seen me :)

Have to disagree with BadlyWiredDog I’m afraid… it’s not like this is the first trail DCC have sanitised; there’s been an outcry from mountain bikers every time and they’ve carried on regardless. They know our feelings on the issue and they don’t give a toss.

Just about every track from Verve’s Urban Hymns… Ashcroft may write some good songs but he has no idea how to finish one.

Peak District has similar tyre-shredding properties… I’ve found that Schwalbe Snakeskin tyres and On One Smorgasbord tyres (the slightly pricier ones with the reinforced sidewalls) have both stood up well.

No probs with climbing for me with that setup, although I’ve always had 140mm so can’t offer any comparison with 130mm. That may or may not be of any help at all.
