I currently like these RHA MA350 £30 – SoundMagic E10’s – £35 are also good.

The E10s have a warmer sound to them – I find them a bit murky. I prefer the MA350 they sound sharper, however you may find them a bit clinical sounding. Both are better than the Sennheiser CX300II’s they replaced.

I serviced my RS coil forks. I did the lowers, put fresh oil in the damper and greased various bits. I didn’t see the point in the renewing seals as they weren’t leaking.

Rockshox fork lowers (in fact most lowers) are dead easy to do. If you can wipe your arse, undo a bolt, and pour a drink you can service a Rockshox.

I had Seinheiser CX300II – now have E10s. I find no difference in comfort between them although the CX300II rubber tips are made from softer rubber, than the ones that come with the E10’s

What do you think of the foam tips compared to the stock rubber ones BTW?

People mostly get colds in Autumn – but not so much in winter. I blame the decrease in UV light and increase in moisture that creates conditions that allows viruses to thrive.

Putting your body under stress, ie being too cold, weakens the immune system and makes you more susceptible to catching the virus.

That’s what I’ve heard.

Lets say that it’s true, then if I am riding my bike in temperatures of 0c but I feel warm because of physical activity does that mean my immune system isn’t being compromised?

I have bought a few copies – definetley not the target audience of the mag however.

I feel that ST mags articles are written by somebody who actually cares for MTB (and yes I do like the romanticising in it 😳 ) unlike MBR which seems like its written by an accountant, or MBUK which is just Doddy willy waving.

T shirts when the pits smell, so about once a week.
Wash my jacket that I wear every day about once a year.

My cycle clothes when the smell gets to “that could gag a maggot” levels

However I have a shower every morning and wash my hair, so this helps with keeping my clothes fresh.
