I’d like some for repairs on ours… can you do me an A4 jiffy bags worth please ? Obviously send you the cash, although only in Dorking and do come to Worthing at least once a month (if you don’t mind stashing it) ?

I’ve a large Prophet MX (2008 I think), frame and Lyric forks. It’s been good for me (6 foot) running with a straight seatpost and 35mm stem. It’s a great bike – long / slack / simple. Only selling because I’ve gone 29er for all.
There is a lot of discussion here:

After £400 for frame and forks. Let me know if you’re interested or want more details, I’m in Surrey.

It’s this one (I bought it from here):

Is carbon worth the £500 extra though.. would rather buy right and not buy twice but it seems a lot extra

Heart says carbon but I’m a bit scared of it.. always been a steel mountain bike type. What happens when I drop it, or lean a ladder on it?

Should add I only need standard QR, although the ability to adapt the front hub might be useful in the future

I grew up in Parsonage Lane, and the location is great for countryside. It’s also the nicer side of the village :P

Assuming you mean this place? My best mate grew up in the same house (next door). Ok for inside space but there is really no outside space at all. It is right ‘on’ the road, but Parsonage Lane is a cul de sac so there is not much traffic.

Agree with Nuke, I now live in Dorking and much prefer the convenience factor of having things on the doorstep. It’s a small town but ideally located with open access countryside and hills in 3 directions.

It’s a 15km loop so there will be plenty of places to watch for free. You’ll just have loads of trouble getting to them and parking anywhere near. If it were me, I’d try to get to Leatherhead (train or M25), then walk out (approx 1 mile) to the circuit.
