    As said above just get a funn full on bar, you’re into a zero sum game when buying bars – Width(mm) 750/785/810 // Rise(mm) 15/30 // Backsweep (degrees) = 8 // Upsweep (degrees) = 5.5.

Not a frame but I’ve had a crank shear in half on bmx when I was a kid. It was that sharp I didnt feel it go through my calf and only realised what had happened when I looked down

The joys of building ramps at the top of a set of stairs  25yrs later there’s still a massive scar

No idea mate, XC/singletrack bores me so i only use Aston Hill and Chicksands locally

I live near there and there’s nothing particularly worth making the journey for. You’re better off heading to Wendover woods/Aston Hill

You’re confusing this forum, the 0.1% of cyclists with the general population

Brexit isn’t even registering, yet. The biggest factors (imo) are the second hand market, which is massive and direct sales.

Race face ambush are very good, wearable for a day out but more than enough protection for an uplift day

The new KUDU range would be getting my cash if I was in the market for a new pack

One day my OG Apex will die and I can justify getting one

Its no doubt a great ride but when a Capra CF Pro exists for £200 less than a base nomad, its a hard purchase to justify

Illegality as a defence isn’t really a thing. I could write more but it’s late and I’m on my tablet

In short it’s a very high bar to achieve and riding on the pavement isn’t anywhere close to clearing it

A driver still has a duty of care to check his environment whether it’s crossing a pavement or driving down the road

Being on the pavement doesn’t mean he can’t make a claim,it will just reduce the drivers contributory negligence.

Profits aren’t that great considering sales etc for Evans. I should imagine they’re cutting high rental costs

Strype Street is a shame but i’d imagine not many people outside of enthusiasts knew about the stock it held

Not a long term member but the thread got my forum memories going and recalled Richie McCoy/Mr Freeride UK and his legendary orange boiler suit (did he use to post on bikeradar?)

Anyway the only link I can find is from here http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/semi-pro-freeriders-and-downhill-riders-please-get-in-touch

I lived/worked just outside the city for a few years and used to ride at Hunter Mountain and a bit further afield windham bike park, both are pretty easy to get too from the city if you’re inclined to go that far

There was also a few locals ones around Newburgh on the Hudson

Nice to see someone skilled get enthused about MTB, though video progression to a crash/injury was quicker than Dave Jenvey :D

One thing he was spot on about was just letting the bike do the work, nearly every crash i’ve seen off drop offs etc is when someone tries to yank the front of the bike up and it just does the opposite and pitches straight down

Once we brexit and drop all these daft EU safety standards a whole new generation of shed engineers will be able to design and build some crazy steel bikes

Lol, how do you control a bike without a rider. Hopefully they have good barristers and not aload of wet the beds who bimble round singletrack/swinley every weekend comparing Strava times

The “out of control” line again

If the HSE were that concerned no one should be allowed within 10ft of the track and be behind a fence, which is probably what will happen if they’re found guilty

This case along with the Charlie Alliston one will be the death knell of cycyling

Personally I wouldn’t leave a 4 year old alone at home as theres far too many variables that can occur. Open the door and wander out/answer to strangers, go into the kitchen and muck about with kettle/oven/hob, its your kid and they should never be left by themsleves

Each to there own but its shit parenting imo

£60’s an amazing price for a charge.

To the OP buy a wave, then after owning one for a few days you’ll want to upgrade to a charge (same as a wave but has better blades)

No one has complained about the lack of 4G yet then?

It’ll happen, once they unplug the ebike and charge their phone

Mountain biking has gone full Swinley of late
