Would it have been a different story if Anton had called him a white cvnt? I’d say probably yes, in fact it probably wouldn’t have been reported. Does that make it right? Absolutely not, but a lot of people are getting a lot more wound up about this that Anton Ferdinand I’ll wager.
I don’t like John Terry based on what I’ve read about him in the news (which I try not to do due to complete disinterest) but I reckon this has been blown out of proportion now and it’s starting to miss the point. I hears ya MikeG, although my Mrs is non-stop cleaning & tidying etc but when she watches tv it’ll be anything cookery related, followed by soaps, reality tv and then CSI type stuff none of which I’d particularly want to see. She’s a nightmare when she’s had a drink, doesn’t like mtb etc and turns into a fvckin dragon with PMT.

No – cos for any sensible comparison public transport and bikes is a cheaper, easier, quicker and more comfortable option.

One trip I do fairly often is to visit my parents.

Cycle to town ( 10 mins), bike on the every 15 mins train, 50 mins to glasgow, 20 mins cycle to my paretnts. total cost £12.10 return, total time under 1.5 hrs, 50+ miles each way.

I can read the paper,have a coffee of a beer on the train and have a pee to relieve the pressure of the beer.

Try doing that in your car

I’ve got the Siemens TK69009 Surpresso S75 and I can highly recommend it.

Update- flew Easyjet Edinburgh to Madrid yesterday and it took off 40 mins late which is good for them. My bags were 2Kg overweight and they let it go. If that had been ryanair they would have charged me for sure.
I did notice that other flights were 2-3 hrs delayed though.
In December I was delayed 1.5 hrs because they gave up their gate to Aer Lingus.
On the plus side I just booked 4 flights for March with speedy boarding and extra baggage for £220 all in.
Book in advance and you’ll get a bargain.

Both are horrible but I find Ryanair’s timekeeping to be better.
I’m on Easyjet tomorrow and dreading it but it can be improved with a speedyboarding ticket and a lounge pass.
Still shit though.
