Cheers Rusty Mac and Boxelder you’re stars.

I know what you mean about splitting the prize but I feel this way it will sell easier.

Caravan here too, sleeps 5 ,fixed bed, shower room, toilet , on board water tank, gas BBQ point on outside and external shower/ bike washer
5 grand also tow it with a freelander and 25-28mpg

Would love a camper/ day van but you have to ride round with all your stuff all the time at least you can unhitch with a caravan

But you can’t really wild camp with a car and caravan can you?
You can get away with it in a motor home though.

    Slight hijack – sorry.

I’m thinking of a campervan or caravan for the future for touring around Europe and I have one question for the caravan boys.

I tow a trailer on my car and it knocks and rattles (socket to ball coupling) a hell of a lot, vibrating through the car at times, my question is.

How noisy/rattly/knocking would the joint be on a large caravan if it’s being towed by say a Merc Vito or a Transit?

No, but I saw a 36er Unicycle been riding fast out of Warrington towards Liverpool on the main road a couple of months ago.

If you the rider of this awesome machine and are reading this, please can I have a shot on it?

Used my Extra Wide Brooks Ass Saver today for the first time and after yesterdays monsoon my ass was saved, I could feel my Fat Tyres flicking up the water further up my back and the back of my head.
It would have made the 100 miles very squidgy without it.

Used to climb loads before getting into MTBing more. Haven’t climbed for years though…

    Seconded, hence my user name.

Gave it up when my taller climbing mates started to take up yoga to make them more flexible. Plus I got bored belaying.

Some sedgments are picked up by phone others are picked up by GPS’s and others are missed completely.

Don’t stress about it, if a pro rider did it no one would stand a chance anyway, just use the “My Results” tab on the left hand side to see your improvements

Don’t you have a small pump in the pond that could be used connected to a hose pipe?

It may take longer but much cheaper.

    Friday, weekend bump

    46 slots still to sell.

    Quick summary.

I’m riding the Isle of Man End2End in Sept on my heavy fat beach/snow bike.

I’m selling my finishing time slots at a fiver a go
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoCkTTsMR4Y-dHVZRFNaR0pmRnVlOHZnX0pQUkhCd3c#gid=0

Rule 1 – Remember to chose your time slot (15minutes apart from your other choices)
Rule 1a – If anyone donates £20+ their time slots can be no closer than 7 miunutes apart

The one who guesses my finishing time correctly will win the £600+ worth of mtb and other goodies (shown above)

I’m doing this for the Alzheimer’s Society a disease that took my Mum from me back in November 2009 but ruined her life 8 years before she died.
It’s an awful disease I don’t wish on anybody.

    83% of my target reached.

mine came in very handy at Hopton woods yesterday, everything else was brown apart from my ass saver clean stripe

It kept my crack nice and dry on a very wet and muddy Delemere ride last night as well. Top job

I use one in St Helens twice a week and it’s brilliant.

£7 a 1 hour session and I feel the fittest I’ve even felt (I’m 44 you know?) all my aches have gone and with the miles I’m riding so has my belly.

It’s only excersises you could do at home but with someone who know’s what they are talking about and telling you how to do them properly.
I know that I could do them myself at home but I know I’d skip a session and skive off the full amount of reps as well.

10/10 for PB fitness of St Helens

From a personal view and not ridden mine in real mud as yet, but with 29er wheels a longer version should be made, even if it doesn’t fold up under the seat when not in use would be good.

Staffan Reference @GiantJaunt and Dogging. Dogging hasn’t anything to do with K9’s over here I think he was being quite rude, maybe Google it ref the UK 😉

Also another benefit is it is flexible so when you need to get off the back of the bike it just folds out of the way. Great product

Seconded, it worked great around Dalbeatie on Friday tucking out of the way easily for a couple of techie play areas then poping out straight afterwards.

Shame it was so dry (not really) as it never really got tested and stayed in the car for Kiroughtree and Ae

Didnt they love to crack ?

No, mine are 18 months old and get used twice a week on a rigid MTB that gets used on all types of trails (even brain shaking rock gardens) and still going strong

I’ve just had an email from Ass Savers ref this thread saying.

“Thanks to you and Singletrack, I’m now swamped with work!”

So, from me it’s a big thanks to you STWers who have supported the little inventers into the industry that we all love.

It’s a shame they are so cheap as there is no commission on cheap stuff like this.

I’ve just ordered one for my narrow Brooks as well.

I bet it’s not wide enough for the 3.8″ Surly Larry but every little helps.
