Thanks to Dogtanian, I’ve had a deep mistrust of the French church since my childhood…
But anyway, why would an eternal and omnipresent uber-being allow one of their pimpest cribs to burn down?
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberEver get the feeling that the one true god ain’t too happy with all these kiddy fiddlers and charlatans dressed in freemason costumes using the threat of eternal omnipresence for their own evil ends?
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberThanks for the offer, but you’re supposed to be weaning yourself off the booze and I can’t risk sullying my reputation as a model citizen…
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberOne thing I’d advise against is doing unpaid favours for ungrateful celebrities and/or media types…
On the flipside, you could have a pop at being a citizen journalist and through extensive research and piecing together timelines explore previously uncharted avenues… though you might be a bit shocked by what you find.
Hmmm, on balance, get a dog.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberDo you ever wonder if Miley Cyrus holds you responsible for her house burning down?
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberWhat we need is a vast global war machine, shouldn’t take much to establish it as the worlds’ #1 consumer of fossil fuels to slaughter innocents in far off lands and perpetuate the oil based economy, due to the war machine’s need for fuel.
Though the numbers killed will stretch into the millions, their deaths won’t have sufficient environmental impact in their own right, since their relative poverty doesn’t promote such intense consumption of the planet’s resources…
However, on the plus side, the pollution from the continuation of the oil based economy and the related levels of plunder will eventually reduce global population sufficiently to nullify any threat to what’s left of the environment.
Then the super rich elite that are left among the ashes can don breathing apparatus and patrol the oceans in their superyachts, admiring the fading garish colours of the plastic landmasses that their wealth was built on.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberWait, Seumas Milne is having his evil way with Geoffrey Robertson, who was recently acting on behalf (and what acting!) of another fair haired defendant?
Err, has it been mentioned that Geoffrey Robertson QC who represents the former Conservative MP Harvey Proctor at @InquiryCSA was part of PIE-linked NCCL? pic.twitter.com/E0c9B3GiSU

jivehoneyjiveFree MemberThere’s an angle in the whole wikileaks saga that I’m surprised no one has investigated…
The role of Sweden’s Foreign Minister Carl Bildt
and his time in Bosnia with Christopher Geidt, who went on to become Private Secretary to the head of state of 4 of the 5 Eyes countries…
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberSomething tells me that unlike some of the methods some racers (and Website Editors) use to try and get in their competitors heads, the bikes ain’t gonna be cheap…
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberI smile at most people I meet and most people I meet smile back…
There’s always gonna be some knobbers consumed with:
hate
primal territorial instinct
a sense of entitlement
shock at someone travelling faster than them as they soak up the serenity of their surroundings
a foolish respect for rules and regulations
and most of em are probably just knobbers; however, it is our responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of other trail users, so a degree of common sense if required.
Smiling is good though, everyone should try it!
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberOh dear, this has all gone a bit earworm and burrowed itself into my head, undoubtedly gonna take to few days to claw it out of the dusty corners of my mind.
Anyhoo, speaking of dusty corners:
I’m the tyre schralper, top soil decimator,
Cloud of roost created, landed in Jamaica, yeahjivehoneyjiveFree MemberWell well…
What if 1 person tied together the Melanie Shaw case, the Disappearance of Madeleine McCann, Operation Rectangle into abuse at Haut de La Garenne on Jersey and the Lambeth case (Operation Trawler, an offshoot of Operation Care), where a detective investigating child abuse was taken off the case after a cabinet minister became a person of interest…
If that same person had been a Deputy Leader of the House of Commons that’d surely be in the public interest, right?
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberThe mention of search dogs reminds me of the McCann case:
The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann – Netflix Documentary (Possible Spoilers)
Hopefully there’s nothing untoward, but as the McCann case (of which there is far more in the public domain) shows, it’s always reasonable to question the official narrative…
As regards Melanie Shaw, questions surrounding the use of secret courts remain
In a wider context, the decision by the Child Abuse Inquiry to hold the hearings into the Westminster VIP Abuse strand just as the drama surrounding Brexit dominates the news does seem a touch odd.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberI’m the humble farmer, growin peat potata
Ain’t got foot n mouth, my flock’s inoculatedjivehoneyjiveFree MemberSeeing the Sixth Element Olympics team story reminded me of this thread and HSBC’s sponsorship of British Cycling…
Can’t say for sure that the Paedophile Information Exchange’s involvement with Midland Bank (whose interests were absorbed into HSBC) was any more than a coincidence, but taking into account the very shady business that Midland (and subsequently HSBC) actively pursued (and continue to pursue) it’s certainly an avenue worthy of investigation:
Bearing in mind of course the central role Midland Bank played with Astra Holdings and Westland under John Cuckney:

That said, I wish the Olympics team all the best and having seen the quality of Sixth Element wheels up close, I’m sure they’re in good hands
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberDespite generally being butt ugly, I’ve always been open to linkage forks due to the potential to tune in additional suspension characteristics such as anti dive.
That was until this morning when I did a bit of head scratching and pondered whether anti-dive is actually a good thing…
When you think about it, the fork diving will weight the front end, increasing traction and steepening the head angle, aiding turn in and agility.
So perhaps anti-dive isn’t all it’s hyped up to be, except in instances where the rider ain’t so hot at timing their braking.
That said, whilst I’m not sure I want my bike looking like a praying mantis, I’m still open to alternative approaches; can’t help but think this would produce a far stiffer fork, which in turn would be smoother due to reduced bushing bind; as a bonus, it’s pretty darn sexy too
https://www.pinkbike.com/news/the-real-story-of-that-single-sided-carbon-fork.html
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberHad a weird retro nightmare last night… was all in flickery black and white style, with a posh narrator like an old Pathé News bulletin.
The Queen and Prince Philip were doing one of their glitzy visits to cheer up the oppressed natives of the colonies and happened upon Kamloops in Canada, unaware that one day it would help birth a revolution in mountain biking.
With their best cheesy grins for the camera, along with some good natured racist humour, they paid a visit to a native school there.
That’s when shit got weird; not only was there some kinda torture dungeon, there was also a laboratory holding vials of various communicable diseases. I heard Prince Philip whisper something about ‘the grand plan’
Still, when they decided to take some kids for a tea party, it all seemed harmless enough…
except those kids simply disappeared and were never to be seen again.
Hmmm
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberDoes the documentary mention the Gaspar Statement?
Fact 1 here:
http://laidbareblog.blogspot.com/2015/06/20-facts-about-disappearance-of.html
As for the cadaver dogs, those very same dogs were used in the Haut De La Garenne home in Jersey:

Make of it what you will…
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberJust seen this, nice to see a video that gives more of a behind the scenes aspect, rather than all the polished edits that convey perfection.
That said, I remember seeing Chris compete in head to head speed trials at Bike ’99 and his skills border on the superhuman… 20 years later and he’s still none too shabby for an old fella.
Hard to think of another rider with such a well deserved cult following
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberGuess what… being suicidal sucks; trust me, I’ve been there, but no matter what, there’s always hope.
There’s any number of reasons that might drive you to the brink, for example; abuse (be it verbal, physical, sexual or emotional) bullying, peer pressure, gaslighting, betrayal, blackmail, shame, shattered dreams, exploitation, sleep deprivation etc.
What it all adds up to is an extreme sensation of alienation and loneliness, devoid of hope or reason to live.
Whilst a lot of the factors involved (and no doubt a lot of suicides) can be attributed to nasty bastards and cruel bitches, I wouldn’t wish the darkness of despair and pain that accompanies attempting suicide on anyone.
The real lesson here is that you never know what someone has been through, or is going through, so be kind goddamn it; compassion and understanding can go a long way to making the world a better place.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberGot one of the refurbished vax ones (£99.99 on ebay) and it’s wonderful…
Where before vacumning was a joyless task, now I skip around like Julie Andrews in fresh alpine meadows.
Seriously though, they are a vast improvement on bulky corded antiques; so long suckas!!
The brush has a seperate switch and is really quite something; reckon it could eat a plate of spaghetti quicker than a hungry whale and certainly leave less mess.
Regarding charge, if worst comes to worst and it’s not enough to do the whole house in a oner, just develop your strategy accordingly and spread the cleaning over a few days like a leisurely holiday.
In summary, a worthwhile investment.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberDamn, that reminds me, I’ve gotta update this thread:
All signs thus far point to torture and murder of Jamal Khashoggi being a vile and cowardly act; if he was indeed killed on behalf of Saudi ruling classes, we deserve to know more as to possible motives
This thread explores avenues which are less likely to be reported by media pic.twitter.com/3wYTk1Y0Lt

Hope the proposed crackdown and censorship of social media won’t effect too many of us…
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberWhat would happen if you cut out the middle man, blagged one of Sick’s designs, tweeked it ever so slightly and got it made by Marino or similar for a fraction of the price?
Might speed up delivery…
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberReally quite sobering in the wider context of organized violence, though I guess for one reason or another, this particular approach is more socially acceptable:
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberWhat would happen if someone produced a mass market video game that simulated and normalized the (taxpayer funded) invasion and massacre of Christian (or Jewish) communities?
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberIs this really so different?
Can’t help but wonder if stuff like this leads to the duality of views like this:
I don’t mind the odd A10 Warthog vs insurgents video though
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberThis seems like a bit of a bargain…
Worth searching ebay for ‘Aprilia 50’, ‘Gilera 50’ or ‘Derbi 50′ to get proper 50cc motorbikes, rather than those there shopping machines*
*’Rockers and mods, the new generation’, said in husky film trailer voice
That said, though I have a full motorbike license, currently the only motorbike I own is a Di Blasi:
I may have a new and unused derestricted gianelli expansion chamber for a Yamaha DT50 hanging around in the shed somewhere…
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberThat’s basically the reason I started using tyre inserts, albeit due to the bead burping when cornering… additional benefits of the tyre insert approach are rim protection and the insert acting as run flat support if the tyre is punctured.
Beyond all that, I’d imagine what you’re suggesting would make getting tyres on and off an absolute ball-ache
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberThat’s exactly what I’ve found… 1st time, took me a few days of faffing to diagnose why it kept leaking from the valve, then turned out to be the bit where it overlapped had unbonded.
Still use it, but now put a strip of gaffer tape over the join and it’s good as gold.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberIf the budget stretched further, you could get a van or pickup…
Failing that, aside from the steeze of a traditional moped, you could get something more resembling an actual motorbike, to help with learning clutch and gear control… that said, the one you’ve put up looks pimp!!
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberHope I haven’t bought back any bad memories with this thread… though I guess sometimes it’s better to get things off your chest and maybe, just maybe it’s a wakeup call for a problem that is all too often brushed aside.
@wallop Thanks, you’ve expressed more compassion than my friend did at the time. The incidents were bad enough but it’s my friends reactions that scarred
Can very much relate to that aweeshoe, reactions that may seem harmless enough to begin with can really grate over time.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberI’ve just remembered, I was supposed to tell you the one about Joe Barnes and the Dudes of Hazzard and how that relates to this whole pinkbike thing.
But maaaan it gets complicated; from the Parkin Bros (who used to do Dirt TV and now do the Red Bull coverage for DH), Manon Carpenter, Matt Jones + Lawrence Crossman Ems, to Micayla Gatto etc etc
Not forgetting the whole Josh Bryceland, Josh Lewis, Max Nerukar axis of evil
Suffice to say you’re gonna have to wait a while for me to type it out.
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberDamn, and there was I thinking it was intergalactic slang for the planet Earth
As in ‘Scum run the planet’
jivehoneyjiveFree MemberI think we all know the reason.
Steady on, next you’ll be saying this is relevant:
1) Should you trust Robert Mueller after he let a pedophile free? Let’s revisit Mueller’s involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sweetheart deal

jivehoneyjiveFree MemberFor some reason, this reminds me of Alan Dershowitz’s defence of OJ Simpson…
Oh, and Jeffrey Epstein:
