The company the girlfriend works for use hire cars on a daily basis. The company also employ somebody whose sole job is to deal with these kind of claims/disputes as they are so frequent.

Plenty of good riding around the Bingley area. I’m out of action at the mo but will go for a pedal sometime if your around. Failing that I can drop you some routes.

A new xt caliper will be about £25 but any Shimano caliper should do the job.

If you do head to stif/brimham rocks you could pay a visit to howstean gorge further up the valley. not sure if they still do it but used to have a via ferratta course.

Plenty of swanky bars and restaurants…. Far too posh for my liking. Another one for hole int wall.

It should do swainy. The trigger 4 has a straight 1.5 steerer.

The brakes are M675. Its the non stealth version and the routings quite neat. There’s a hole in the linkage then it goes internal via a hole under the shock then emerges just before the headtube. Maybe the 380mm will do the trick for you.

I’ve got a reverb on my medium trigger 4. Think its the 420mm with 125mm drop. I have it almost to the point where it wont insert any further and works well for me (just below 6ft).

I flew to New Zealand in the late 90’s with my mum and my gran, We stopped over in Singapore for a few days and then travelled onto Wellington with a short stop in Sydney (change flights). Economy on long haul flights is not like the shorter European routes but I’m sure any additional comfort will be appreciated if cost is not an issue.

Once locked mine and a mates bike up in skipton, he forgot to bring the keys to the lock so we went to the hardware store where the bloke kindly lent us some bolt cutters. They were so blunt it took us 5/10 minutes to cut through the lock. This was a busy Saturday lunch time and nobody paid any attention. We were in biking gear but does make you think!

I have a reverb on mine, think i really made a meal of the routing and had to remove the forks to get the hose out of the frame.

Reeth looks popular. I’m quite a fan of pately bridge. Not certain of accommodation as use a family members static but the area is certainly worth considering.

Same opinion as botk. Once forgot my helmet on a ride and it felt really odd.

Will certainly check out some of the routes posted. If the pace isn’t too serious i’d be interested in a group ride.

I’ve used paisley freight numerous times without issues. Prices start from about £22 although i believe this doesn’t include much if any insurance.

The woods down in Elland are interesting although I’m not sure about riding back up the Calderdale way afterwards. I work on just below where you live so if you discovery a local loop let me know and I might join you one afternoon.

^^^^ was waiting for this one…. the issue being cannondale clearly offer a crash replacement scheme on their website but refuse to honour it when its called upon.

I jumped on the trigger bandwagon whilst pauls cycles were doing the deals. Had an issue and cannondale uk were not interested in the slightest. Bought a replacement frame but very much doubt i’ll purchase another cannondale again.

New frame arrived today courtesy of pauls cycles…. was looking at some new wheels/rims to add a bit of colour to it as its all very black (trigger 3 frame). Would love something like mavic deemax but a bit pricey for me.
