Awesome event once again! Thanks to everyone.

Unfortunately, the never-ending beer receptacle that I purchased for 1 token off Nick seems to have run out of mystical powers. I can only hope it will begin to work again correctly at next years event.

    Congratulations!!

Adopter of 1 here. Pleasure and pain, but ultimately a massively rewarding experience.

    Best of luck.

Brilliant event – whole family enjoyed it last year.

Here’s a thread from last years with lots of feedback: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/big-bike-bash-7

Looking forward to meeting up with Keith and family again (are you going this year Keith?)

Not looking to crashing again on the jump track 🙁

Would you like me to bring my home brew cider again this year WCA?

Ours looked good when finished. I think I saved a bag of the dust to mix with wood glue to fix dents and scratches.. haven’t tried it so dunno if it actually works…

Another poor experience with Suunto here. Claimed waterproof but mine broke down with a first go in the pool 🙁

Ours was £650 bought as a pup. Don’t forget all the associated costs of ownership such as jabs, vet bills, pet insurance, food, etc.

    Love him to bits.

Sorry, another Springer here. 9 months old now and is turning into an absolute gem. Chilled in the house and a fun teraway out of it. He is great around our 2 children (6 and 3) even though they think he is a WWF wrestler!!

6 months now and embedded firmly with the family. At work with us during the day and I think that has helped with bonding and experiencing new things. As said above, ours does have an “excited pee-on-shoes” issue which can be embarrassing when clients pop in for a meeting 🙂 He also loves to show off his bedding, toys etc.

To be honest, I wish we had borrowed a friend’s dog for a while to see how it would impact on family life/routine etc as it sure has – but mostly in a completely positive way.

He is ace with kids, our cat and has been nothing but a joy and long may it continue.

Good luck finding the right dog.

Another +1 for osprey. I have the Momentum 34 and it’s been used most days for over a year.
