Euro from memory of the original kickstarter vid you don’t just ride down one trail and optimise for that trail surface and conditions
You ride your normal route which will cover different surfaces and conditions
The system looks at the overall shock / fork performance and recommends what could be improved in general
Obvioulsy if you only ride smooth trails and then ride go for a ride in a rock fest it ain’t going to work

That’s just awesome and mental, 45miles with nearly 8000ft of climbing, big high 5 to both of you

Have always hated seaskinz but I’ve seen the light with these hydro stop versions
They are mentally expensive (got mine on offer with an extra discount at go outdoors)
They have improved massively since I last bought a pair
Come in 3 lengths and two weights, merino inside, hydrostop thing on the cuff
    And a “lifetime” guarantee

Not sure were you get the above from:

Slash is designed from the ground up to conquer the gnarliest trails and enduros, in a 27.5″-optimized package that makes this bike the undisputed king of the mountain.

    Remedy 27.5 says the same

Just got these which can be used with spd and flats (in the snow) as the big hole can be plugged again as pictured
The sole is very grippy and has a little give so they are very comfortable for walking in (if you need to clamver over rocks like me)
Just sold my celcius, very warm you can’t walk in them

Yep usually on a tue and thur night, nothing like going down the beast or other such rocky trail in the dark

Yep Rushup with the bloody great sharp rocks that DCC dumped is lethal (hope you all have filled in the DCC consultation)

parkin clough is in a different league to the beast/jacobs/cutgate/cavedale.
a couple of the sweary boys can ride it. most cant.

Its horses for courses but I find parkin always doable without a dab (I’ve done in the dark with lights also)

But always struggle with cavedale as its mostly always wet and can be very slippery

Most times I’ve been rode it with some very capable riders and most struggle getting down without a dab

Hora I’ve a pic on my phone of you on parkin 😉

Legit for me its cavedale I’ve rode it dozens of times and never made it down without a dab
Cheeky wise I walked up lose hill recently and think it would be a challenge getting down the centre of that

One night recently I heard someone moving around downstairs. I thought ‘that’s someone moving stuff’

There is evidence of a correlation between beliefs in the supernatural and spiritual relating to suppressed analytical thinking.

But this acute observation blows that theory out of the water.

Maybe endura windchill, water resistant back no insulation
Or maybe just use a waterproof breathable outer over any other glove

so why are they so keen to suddenly fix something that’s been like that for donkey’s years and not getting any worse (except perhaps the narrow track up to the side, which isn’t really down to the bed rock?

DCC would state that they want to make the (pretty isolated) trail acessable to all
But in reality it appears they are nervous of people suing them by falling over in the mountains

I also made the point about the bedrock being there for decades with (to my knowledge) very good natural drainage

Impossible to argue with Martin Ashton, that vid of him riding with danny macaskill and mates was just brilliant

I found the normal version to tight also so went for the HV which I thought were fine to start with but after stretching a little they are now to big in thin socks.
Shame as they are great shoes

Can’t see any mid ones arogers?

I posted the same thing a couple of months ago, it measures just below 2.2 on my WTB freq 23.
But on the back its worth a go as its mentally fast has surprising climbing grip in the peaks.
You do have to remember to think about your breaking a little more as it does not won’t to stop !!

Don’t bother Hora get an espresso Stove, Aeropress or even a cheap barista style coffee machine
The capsules are ok but don’t come near the taste of using freshly roasted beans ground as needed.

Grinder I actually tried the screes on last year when looking for some winter shoes and did find them very comfy and ideal for most of the year but thought they would be far to warm for spring / summer

Tried on both the giro’s and the 2FO cliplites today, giro felt very tight at both my size and one above and the 2FO’s felt uncomfortable around the ankles, obviously things ease with wear but felt unsure about dropping so much money on a pair of uncomfortable shoes in store
Have ordered a pair of HV giros to try also
Anyone else felt the same about the shoes and if they got better with wear ?

Nick did you get the standard ones or the HV and how do they size up in width and length
