Haha, thanks for the replies. So this thing needs to go between brake and fork then? Instructions pic shows it behind the fork.

Don’t mind having to bend/cut it (well I do really!), I’ve already been filing it to fit behind so am resigned to the fact these need modding

Do you have kids Merak? I have to tell our 6 year old tomorrow. She said yesterday she misses Mia who as far as she knows is at the hospital (which makes people better in all her books). Man.

I feel your pain. I had our cat Mia put down yesterday morning after 24 hrs on a drip. She stopped eating suddenly and they diagnosed kidney diease. Absolutely gutted

The same cat that was was responsible for this…

Cage on my 105 just snapped. Shifting had become worse and worse over a couple of months and the chain was dropping quite regularly until I noticed the break when it finally stopped shifting.

Can’t get enough of mine. It’s a Riva 55 cassette. Punches out plenty of heat for my 16m2 lounge. My advice would be not to go too small as you can always put less fuel in a bigger stove, not the other way round!

4th ride was pp campanet lloseta benissalem sa pobla alcudia and back to pp. Pretty flat but tricky to navigate between lloseta and benissalem. I had been heading for santa maria but ended up in benissalem instead.

Gmail. And don’t bother confusing things by downloading to a thick mail client, just use the gmail web client on any pc you use.

In Laymans terms, sign up for a gmail account and use gmail through your internet browser on your pc and any email app on your mobile devices.

I can’t tell either. Think the biggest noticable difference on the front was going from 9mm qr to 15mm bolt thro, or that could have been a combo between new forks, a tapered head tube, qr15 and going from alu bars to stiff carbon. So tricky to tell unless u change one component at a time.

You think the government epetition site is possibly a scam?

    Wow!

You have so much spare time to fill out so many epetitions that you were already fully confident in that site’s authenticity?

    Wow!

Looking into the site a bit further it looks fairly genuine but it does make you wonder how many people just fired their home details into a random site without validating its authenticity

Could this be a site set up by a scammer to capture the names and full addresses of anyone who’s interested in cycling and therefore likely to have a bike to steal? 9,000 addresses and counting…

Just a thought. Hope you didn’t put your home address in…

Bank draft was what I was thinking of. Now I’ve just read this…

If you intend to make a large purchase such as a car, the seller may ask for the purchase price to be paid by bank draft. This can be useful because the person to whom it is made out has the advantage of knowing that it will almost certainly be paid.

Knowing you will almost certainly be paid and not definitely is a disadvantage in my opinion!

Guy at work had his done in october. He’s just been off for 8 weeks and is still off with an infected nut! Doc says if it can’t be fixed it will have to come off…

You takes your chances but it ain’t for me no way.

Put it on ebay starting at 99p and it will find it’s value naturally.

If it’s advertised well but not selling then the price is defo too high.

Wow if I hadn’t already booked our summer holiday I’d be talking to you about this. We live in Ilkley, a Roman Spa Town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales national park. There’s Abbey ruins around here and a castle at York an hour away. There’s also quality moorland riding from the doorstep and it’s a 30 minute train ride from one of the biggest cities in the UK.

    Maybe next year.

Edit: there’s actually a castle 15 mins down the road at Skipton which I forgot about. Don’t know why I’m trying to sell this to you though as I can’t do anything about it!

Cable and Wireless Worldwide, now Vodafone, provide Managed Exchange services.

EDIT: It seems Vodafone only do Managed Exchange for Enterprise clients at the moment.

Is there such a thing as a Tracker system for bikes like with cars? Surely a transmitter of sorts down the seat tube can’t be beyond the realms of possibilities these days?

Want to call their customer services and have it picked up after 1 ring by someone in Scotland who can handle whatever banking query you have, any time of the day including at peak?

No other company I know of has service like FD. Amazing. Oh, and you can pay in at HSBC and bank online. Why wouldn’t you move?

No need for litter tray (although perhaps there is now), cat door with ensuite to back garden, and more importantly next door’s garden, is 1ft to the right of the pic. Lazy fecker.
