    Greeble – re. photoshoppery

    Did you scale the “26” wheels down based on the numbers 26 and 27.5? If so I think your images will have overestimated the difference as 650b is not actually 27.5 in real life. In your images the difference in wheel size looks a lot bigger than other 26,27.5,29 comparison images I’ve seen. I’m probably over analysing your bit of fun to be honest!

    @timmys

    no, no scaling involved. overlayed the 26″ nomad over the bronson and made sure the components such as seatpost, saddle, cranks etc were all the same size which they were. I just used the nomad’s wheels and fork. and moved the frame relative to how the wheels sit

    are the cups pressed in square? the cups may not be sitting flat with the headtube. this will cause premature bearing wear

    Seriously! if you think Merthyr is bad, Merthyr has nothing on those two!
    Aberdare country park is nice but that means staying in Aberdare! 8O

    Personally: go to Bikepark Wales and get the **** out of dodge!

    I spent last september touring utah. There are some fantastic places to ride. Salt lake city has some good spots i.e. park city.
    Virgin near Zion national park is the site for the red bull rampage.
    vitalmtb have a good article here regarding southwest utah for riding

    If you’re in Moah visit Arches national park some totally amazing stuff there! not for riding also head south and visit natural bridges national park and Page. all depends if you have the time ofcourse. I got in 2400miles in a week touring Utah

    Mojo IIRC set me straight on my RP23 tweak so I’ll be going to them for a Push.

    get the shock custom tuned and it’ll have nothing on the PUSH. people think their shock feels rubbish so use the magic placebo PUSH upgrade without considering what a custom shimstack tune could do.

    chappy doing the overtake was on a DH bike, others were on hardtails.

    That was obviously a section of the course which favoured the DH bike!

    urrm should have gone to spec savers

    yes I found that is the best way. its neat and tidy out of the way under the bar. your thumb is naturally under the bar so all you need to do is extend your thumb and press the button.
