How did you route your stealth dropper, tied it to the rear brake cable on the down tube and into the hole on the seat tube?

Is that 90mins in normal conditions or when the roads have come to a stand still with all the snow and ice?

Can’t help notice that some off these bikes have watchers.
Could you imagine being the poor boy/girl who’s grand parents bought you one for Xmas, thinking it was a decent bike!

Had one yesterday on a set of forks I have in classifieds. Was the poor English, send big cheque to cash etc. style email.

That will be those Eastern Europeans in jeans and hoodies, that ask for directions :-)

Ive only ever used water on my bikes and every once in a while a little washing up liquid squirted on a brush to clean the cassette and chain..which is rinsed of immediately never effected the finish so not in a rush to change it. How much better is much off?

Here my lads orbea team disc mx20

Only thing I don’t like on it is what appears to be a long cage rear derailleur.
Is there a short cage 9spd derailleur that I could replace it with?.. something like the Zee 10spd.

That cage is great at picking up sticks and all sorts and jamming up the jockey wheels.

Did this to my Bluto RL, short piece of cable to fix it in the open position. Then replaced the RL damper with the RCT3, big improvement.
You’ll need to download the rockshox parts catalogue for 2015 and it will list the part number for the RCT3 damper.
Wouldn’t surprise me of its the same one for the bluto and SID.

    Edit not the same one:
    Part no. 11.4015.544.290
Compression Damper, Motion Control DNA, Crown Adjust – Revelation RCT3 Black (includes compression knobs) A3 (2014-2016)
    Part no. 11.4015.544.300
Compression Damper, Motion Control DNA, Crown Adjust – Revelation RCT3 Silver (includes compression knobs) A3 (2014-2016)

Isn’t a small race the same as a normal medium, but with a different stem length?

Some bargains in the canyon outlet store on the strive, I was tempted but a spectral would suit my riding better.

worst job I’ve done on a bike has to be a paper round.

If you want an all round HT I’d be looking for something that can take different size wheels. But obviously extra wheel sets add to the cost, but something you can buy later on.
Personally I would go for something that takes 27.5+ sizes and will also take 29er with a smaller tyre. Bear in mind most fat bikes will take both and 26 fat.

I might not bother now then, where’s the fun in that.

I did have a go on a MERIDA EONE SIXTY 900..i was amazed at how much assist boost gave when pulling off from a stand still.

Seems like a good idea when my knees are totally borked, but then trying to put it in the back of the car might be an issue at 22kg if I’m semi crippled.

I’m going to get an ebike, not coz I’m unfit, fat or unskilled as I’m neither of those. Just to p@ss the haters off, where’s the best place to ride with all the haters?
How many times can I get called a w@nker or a motorcyclist in two hours on a trail?
Also need to get some jeans and a hoodie :D

Thanks.. I’d still be up for throwing myself down BPW though..

None of my local mates ride bikes so it’s more of a lonesome thing for me.. Whinlatter, landelga, cannock, FOD all riden on my own. If I had been unfortunate I might not be so lucky to be up at this hour comparing scars :-)

Goldigger throw yourself down a flight of stairs, for the bpw taster experience

That sounds like a walk in the park compared to throwing myself down a road at 120mph I mean 60 officer, taking a sign out, breaking both femurs, left tib and fib and fracturing L4…

I’ve spent ages looking at kids bikes recently and come to the conclusion that most other brands have cheap heavy parts on. Most have a freewheel cassette which in my opinion limits the upgrade path.

Have the orbea MX20 team disc on the way for my nearly 6 year old son.
Went for this as its light, tubeless rims, freehub cassette rather than one of those screw on freewheel jobs. So room to upgrade their if needs be.
Shimano hydraulic brakes rather than tektro cable actuated disc brakes, have read the tektro are apita to adjust.
    Thumb shifter rather than gripshit.
If I feel the need to add a suspension fork then I’ll get a spinner air from Poland for €120.

I was just looking at those Wellgo KC001 and 008 this morning.
Will have to get the 001 as the 008 only available in white!

Went for the orbea team disc, it was cheaper than the commencal.
Main reasons I went for it are:
    1.Tubeless rims
2.Cassette is a freehub rather than freewheel screw on, so option to fit a 9spd cassette/shifter out of the parts bin.
3.Shimano Hydraulic disc brakes rather than cable actuated ones. Read numerous reports that the tektro cable disc brakes are crap.

Will probably chop a carbon bar down and fit that.
