More excellent recommendations and tips there, cheers!

Sooooo, we had our first Veggie Curry Banquet tonight, featuring Malvern Riders Cauli and Potato Curry and Rene59s Sweet pot and spinach dahl. It was blinkin’ yummy!

Alongside, some Saag Aloo, onion bhaji’s, Veg Pakoras, Coconut Rice and Riata (probably none of this is spelt correctly).

This prob won’t work, but I took a photo.

Thanks all, I will revisit this thread and use some of the rest of the suggestions in the future, onewheelgood and nedrapier, you’re next.

Love my Nukeproof Protons, but they don’t do them anymore, so I’ve just ordered a set of Neutron/Electron EVOs to try.

Wheaten bread, butter and scrambled eggs here.

I’m going to do no mid week alcohol January….from next week, because I only go back to work on Monday 8th, so I’m still on my hols 😀

Anyway, I’ve been a fish eating veggie for a whole 2 days now, so I have enough going on.

Good luck OP and others taking on Veganuary.

I’m aware that we eat far too much meat in this house, so we’re going semi veggie (will still eat fish) for January. I know it isn’t anywhere near the same committment as going vegan, but it’s a step in that direction. Also, we keep chickens and love our eggs 🙂

Gonna start C25K with the kids next week.

I used to do a bit of running and could run a very slow 10k tomorrow if I wanted, but I just hate it. Hoping I’ll enjoy running with the kids and I know running really helps me with weightloss.

Hopefully get a family Parkrun completed before the summer.

Trespass. I have a couple of pairs of their womens baggy MTB shorts, usually about £17 in the sale. I don’t think they do MTB jerseys, just normal roadie cycle tops. Still, might be worth a look.

Delivery was a bit crap there for a couple of months while they did the wiggle stock merge, but ordered stuff just before Christmas and it seems to be back to its usual decent speed now.

Pity they have sweet FA in stock…

Chuck them into your next omelette/scrambled egg, extra yolky scrambled egg and muffins for breakfast this morning. Yum.

    Hardly inspiring, but pӣs easy.

Arrives 1pm-ish Christmas Day. Leaves 8pm-ish Christmas Day. Says all sorts of offensive/insulting things during that 7 hours. But despite my red wine addled self wanting to bury her under the patio, she doesn’t have a bad bone in her body, had a crap time with her husband dying young and is brilliant with my kids, so I get grumpy, but get over it quickly.

Probably about 24, so 2005-ish. Bit backward here in NI. The DUP tried to have it banned, along with line dancing.

An HDBaseT Tx/Rx pair might be your answer. Aten do good reliable stuff. Depending on model, HDMI @ 4k and an ethernet pass through port for internet connectivity.

You’ll start to notice HDBaseT sockets on TV’s soon.

I’m a wee bit sad that I can’t think of anything I eat which I’m actually ashamed of, but I’m cheered by the recipe ideas I’ve picked up reading this thread.

Of particular note are the marmalade and nutella toastie and the tomato soup chips.

Almost 2 weeks waiting on 2 Conti touring plus tyres…

I believe they’re currently moving the warehouse from Doagh (NI) to Englandshire Wiggle warehouse, so that’s causing the hold ups.

At least I’m not in a rush for my tyres.

As a bloke, I’m left wondering “what can I do”?

Easy – don’t be involved in such behaviour. If all blokes cared as much and took the same action, not much else would need done.

    Dear STW diet experts,

I am going on holiday to a hot sunny place in 8 days time where I may need to bare some flesh. I am 147lbs and would like to be 140lbs.

How can I achieve this, apart from a 100% Yakult poous oftenuss diet?

Yup! First one I ever had was a few days sucking old before my 3 yo found it in my belly button. In my defence, we were on a sailing holiday and showers were several days apart. I’ve had a few since, due to frequenting Lochaline and Salen most summers, but none as big as that first blighter! But I guess we are pretty good about tick checks after walks ashore these days.
