There were lots of families and loads of teenagers messing around in the skills/pump/free rides, which is good IMO as they’ll keep the sport alive.

The Ricoh grd4 is brilliant and very quick but it’s a wallet busting £450.

It’s not waterproof though but if you want a very quick compact with a great sensor and lens it’s worth a look.

I’ve got an ifly on my alu ht xc, had it for years and don’t find it uncomfortable. The new ones have a bit more flex so should be even more like sitting on a cloud.

Also have a spesh toupe which is very comfy on the road bike.

I couldn’t see the logo on the dropouts, but it has rear facing dropouts. We’re they common on other bikes?

And I wouldn’t dream of putting anything less than xt on a Klien.

The sticker, it wraps around the downtube. But seriously for me it’s the simplicity of the smaller ones – elegant lines. I’m not liking the seat/top tube brace on the top picture.

I was well up for getting one but things have changed…..

That looks really lovely. Think it’s a ’94 though if the seat tube’s fluted. I had one in that same green & Tange Ultimate tubing. Wish I’d kept it, but sold it on to fund a ’98 853 Explosif frame.

This is mine and it’s a ’94 with no fluting but you can see the butting.

Lovely bike PeterPoddy, The explosive was also my dream bike form back in the day and the Hei Hei my wet dream bike – but they are rare as rocking horse ***t now and cost twice as much.

I’m thinking of Hyrdo rim brakes as well, but not sure whether to single speed it, but I do have the sugino impel cranks. It’s in the loft hiding until I make my mind up.

seeing as your all so interested may be able to help as he is a mate of mine. it had to go back to the shop just in case. and even they were unsure at first. i had a look myself and can say it was strange as they were the only sections on the entire bike with the marking. somehow mud had got under the tape and the tape had then stuck itself down again so you couldnt feel an edge or anything along those lines. the headset was stripped out just in case too but all seems to be ok now

Yes, last year our iPad and Mac mini were both bought though the company and offset against the tax. Previously our laptops/cameras/hard drives etc have been put through.

About to buy a four thirds camera that will be put through as well.

But it has to be relevant to your industry and the above is for us.
